I've downloaded all the maps from eq-toolbox, unzipped, saved them in the proper directory, and changed the names to name.txt. Most work now - even the ones that did not work in the past because they simply were never there. (thanks, SOE Smiley: mad) For whatever reason, LDoN still shows no map at all. I heard mention in another forum about a "special parchment" that is needed to view some maps. I had never heard of this before and I forgot to ask my group member last night how he had gotten his map to work. (Was busy being MT with my not-so-new-anymore warrior).

Anyone have any light to shed on this issue? I know we've covered maps before but I've not seen a post on this particular problem.

I read about the special parchment when LoY came out. However, I never had a problem with any maps. I got the LDoN from EQ-Toolbox, and at least for the dungeons I've been in, they work just fine.

Did you try zooming way out? For some reason my map always start out zoomed so far in, it looks like there's nothing there.

Also, something I do to make life much easier with ldon maps, is to change the back ground color of the map to a dark color. With the maps I use, the line is a light yellow color, that on a textured map background is barely viewable.

Other than that, I have had no problems with any of the ldon maps I got from eqtoolbox. Good Luck
