Good training area for high teens (solo)Follow

#1 Feb 24 2004 at 7:54 AM Rating: Decent
Ok I was meeting somebody in HHK the other day and I got bored of waiting so I started wandering around. Well, I ended up in the jail area (past the jail clerk) and saw that nearly all the prisoners are dark blue to me, a lvl 17(Ro). I got half-way through level 17 in less than 30 with no heals! They are quite easy to hit because they have no armor, they dont cast spells, and they dont have weapons. Not any good loot, but great experience. Is there any high-level NPC's down there i need to be aware of? If I kill to many will I become KOS to the guards? Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tark

Not sure, what faction hits were you getting?

I remember killing prisoners on my first character, my cleric, because for some reason I had gotten angry that I had to group all the time for everything and was determined to solo a level or two to prove otherwise.

First off, Highpass Keep is an excellent hunting zone that has a very large level range and one of the highest Zone Experience Modifiers in the game. The prisoners are easy pickings as they are pretty weak, run, and can come in singles if you simply don't be a moron.

-The prisoners will not give any faction upon death, so you will not have to worry about becoming KOS to anybody. "The guards don't care if the prisoners live or die - you can be slaughtering a prisoner right next to a guard and the guard will stand there and cheer you on." Nor are there any other npcs that will help them. They don't help you or them. So also be warned though that if you overpull and get swarmed, you will have to run to the zoneline. Just don't be foolish and you will have an easy time with them, good luck.

You will however have to watch out for the other npc standing in there if your faction is off with him.
Can't remember the name or faction... so I'll check it out.
