GoD amazing for 1 group lootFollow

Imagine spending 2-4 hours in a group and leaving with a 100-165 HP loot. Not to mention the amounts of experience are overwhelming in GoD. What once took hundreds of thousands of Platinum, or a massive high level raid force, can now be atained with a 6 person exp group. Granted this GoD expansion is by no means ' easy '. These mobs hit very hard and you need to build a well balanced group including a strong Tank, a Slower, a Cleric ( you will need res for sure ), a spot healer helps, and some good DPS. The high risk/high payout/high exp makes me excited about Everquest again knowing that I can improve my character without a Key to the Elements, or Time. I spent 8 hours in the last week in GoD and already I have won a 100 HP item out of the 3 items I have seen drop so far. There is also quest armor similar to Ornate that originates in the Boat City. Finally SoE has recognized that not all players have the time to spend raiding everyday for 6 hours, and have introduced a very high end opportunity for us casual players to gain treasure and riches.

Ya know, I've seen this happen before.

The first week or so after an expansion is out, the loot and exp are fantastic. Everyone rushes to get in on the great drops, and then the powers that be decide that they've erred and set the drop rates too high and scale them back in a follow up patch.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Depends what it is, really. The 160 hp hynid boots that a level 40ish character can get solo will be nerfed, if they haven't been already. That's too out of line with what's normal in EQ, and it's pretty much obviously a bug when hynids a couple tiers up don't drop the equivalent tradeskill parts.

Vxed/tipt dropping 120ish+ hp items and sewers dropping 100ish is totally in line for what they should be dropping. Ferubi is a litte on the high side, but again, those aren't especially better than elemental xp nameds which are one grouppable, so I don't see those being nerfed. They aren't obviously bugs, and there is no real reason to nerf them.

On the other hand, Ikkinz raids which cough out Quarm level loot and could really be done by a vex level guild isn't gonna last, most likely.
