I've heard rumors that there's a triple backstab discipline incorporated into GoD. Is this true, and are double backstabs just successful backstabs where your double attack skill is successful, or is there a separate skill? I don't remember seeing a separate 'double backstab' skill.

Go in game, make yourself a rogue (if you don't already have one), pull up your AA skills (either V or alt-V), and page through the available skills. The information there should answer all your questions.
I don't have much information on it. All I know is there is this AA that gives rogues a chance to land a 3rd BS after a succeful double BS. At least that's what the rogues I've grouped with told me. They also told me that triple BS happened once every other blue moon.

Yes, it is a new GoD AA, and it does work quite often, I like it.
