I am a druid and I often cast SoW for donations and im wondering, how does one cast "extended" buffs?

You need items with the "extended enhancement" focus (though extended enhancement I will do in the case of SoW. It provides up to 15% longer durations.
Extended Enhancement I Gear:
Bear-hide Boots (Very easy Qeynos Hills Quest, if memory serves.)
Damask Robe
Lockjaw Hide Vest
Shazda Turban
Extended Enhancement II Gear:
Batfang Headband (Found one at the bazaar for 200 platinum not too long ago)
Chestplate of the Constant
Clawed Knuckle-Ring (Another nice, light item you can swap out if you desire).
Drakescale Belt
Totemic Breastplate
You can search by "spell focus" in the bazaar. This is a great focus affect for any class using buffs. My wife plays a shaman and swaps out a Shadel Bandit Ring and a Clawed Knuckle-Ring to get more mileage out of her various buffs (especially the regen and quickness series).

The extended enhancement focus items extend all beneficial enhancements (buffs), including SoW.
If you have the equipment on, your spells will last 15% longer. Level 1 focuses are good for all spells level 20 and under, level 2 is good for 20-44, level 3 up to 60, and level 4 to 65.
I recommend the Lockjaw vest if you're under 24. Bat-fang after that.

Unless there was something changed that I am not aware of your statement was a little incorrect. I dont mean this as a jab, just tyring to put out accurate info.
Just for a little clarity...
Level 1 works on spell levels 1 - 20
Level 2 works on spell levels 1 - 44 (not 20 - 44)
Level 3 works on spell levels 1 - 60
Level 3 works on spell levels 1 - 65
