I have a warrior that is lvl 21. I use dual wield. I just found out my epic is a 2hs. What should i do ? Keep my dual wield with 1hs or work on me 2hs?

warrior epic is both 1hs and 2hs. it has a scabard that will turn your 2hs into two 1hs weapons.

a smart warrior/tank will have/keep all his weapon skills maxed other then h2h unless you are a monk/BL.

focus on your 1h skills like 1hs, 1hb, and piercing but do not let your 2h skills get to far behind or it will be even more difficult to max them out.

harsh being level 50+ with a 40 skill in 2hb or 2hs. your not much of a tank at that point and are more of a hinderance then a plus to your group/raid.

Yep you need all your weapon skills. You'll be using duel wield for tanking, but there will be times when you are not the main tank and a 2 hand weapon will give DPS without drawing agro.

So train all your weapon skills, you never know what awesome weapons may come your way in the future.

The truth of the matter is you will be very hard pressed to keep all your weapons skills lvl maxed for a number of lvl yet.

It is also true that at lower lvl it is not unusual for two hand weapons to out agro two one hand weapons. Do to relativly low dual wield skill.

The fact is that no highend warrior I know uses a spear or a dagger.
Do to the lower skill cap post lvl 50.

Furthermore, unless they have changed things once your weapons skills hit about 200 (about lvl 40) they will not increasses again until you ding lvl 51 (if i recall correctly)

So what does all this mean?

Pick two diffrent kinds of one hand weapons and work with those until you have lvl maxed both skils. If possible you should use your training points to rase your skill to at least 20. At the same time you sould pick either 2hs or 2hb and get it lvl maxed.

Once you are able to keep these 3 skills lvl maxed start working on the other 2h skill. You will have plenty of time from lvl 40 to lvl 50 to lvl max any skill that lag behind.

Remember the key thing is to have some skills lvl maxed.

If you are looking at the post lvl 50 game then the swords and blunts are the most important weapons skills.

You will want atleast 1 of the 2 hand weapon skills maxed for the simple reason of damage sheilds. You smack around a DS'd mob with 2 fast hitting weapons and you will chew yourself up. Having a big, slow, hard hitting 2-hander will dish out the same damage but in less hits. This is especially important in Tak adventures where almost everything there has a DS.
