Tribute system is GAY!!!!!!!!!!Follow

What is the deal with the tribute system. Give him all your pp and items for a few minutes of buffs. And you have to go back to tribute master to activate this and lose time on your buffs running to zones. Maybe someone could clarify this system.

Acutally, the tribute system works a little differently -

Say you have 1,000 points

You choose 50 points of buffs (FT 2, Regen 2, and maybe a few extra hit points).

For 50 pts you get those buffs for 10 minutes. But at the end of the 10 minutes you don't need to go back, if you still have points left, it subtracts that from your total again and the buffs are refreshed.

So in this example, your 1,000/50 = 20 refreshes of buffs

20 x 10 minutes = 200 minutes or about 3 hours. Though now with the nerf you won't get as many points for as you did.

These abilities also stack with buffs and gear (though I think you still will have your cut off of FT 15).

So its not THAT bad.

Please don't tell me this is going to start another 5 page thread.

Edit: It's a 4 page thread, not a 5 page. Speaking of which, why isn't it buried 3-4 pages back yet? Oh well...

Sorry about hijacking your thread kikajara. The point is that the the wording of your title WILL offend someone here, and I just hope this thread doesn't get re-hijacked and made into an extension of that other thread.

The title of the thread HAS already offended someone. Slowly I'm growing more and more accustomed to being treated like a third rate citizen in the EQ world. It wasn't till I started playing EQ that I found out about the teen age trend of call everything that they don't like or approve with "gay." I'm not going to hijack this thread, nor get on a soapbox concerning gay rights issues.

I would like other people to start being more sensitive to other people's feelings. This is a PUBLIC forum, and as such two seconds of thought and consideration should go into each and every posting. If you don't want to see another long and drawn out "gay vs. not gay" positing, please by all means think before you hit the enter key. If people will find your posting possibly inflamatory or insulting, by all means don't post it. This is just being polite and good social behavior. I don't think expecting people to be polite is asking too much. These are essential skills that must be learned in today's business world.

I'm sure that the original author of this message meant that the tribute system is tasteful, charming, polite, good-looking and is close friends with all the girls that "The Glorious kikajara" wished he could date.
