I was organizing a dungeon the other day, the first I had done since GoD was officially turned on, and when we downed our first mob in EF I was delighted to see a new message pop up saying I have gained leadership experience. Cool! Wow! Wasn't I special?

After the dungeon was finished I thought my AA bar had gone up a little slower than usual. I started reading up on this leadership thing and there didn't seem to be a whole lot of definitive information.

My question is, if leadership is turned on, is it drawing xp away from AA and normal xp, or is it a separate entity that accumulates on its own?

If it does draw from your AA pool, it would have been nice for Sony to make the default *OFF* until some of us have had a time to research it and find out what it does. I don’t particularly care about gaining leadership points at the moment and would have really liked that xp to go to AA.

I know, I know, shame on me for not researching the expansion better, but if anyone knows the answer please let me know. Thanks!

I did some testing whilst in a LDON last night. The xp bar for Leadership and normal XP's seemed to increase as similiar amounts (with Leadership turned ON).

I tried turning Leadership off, but didn't notice a big difference in normal xp accumulation - though by that time i'd already gotten a bubble in Leadership xp. We were at the end of the LDON so I couldn't say for sure either way.

Would also like a definitive answer on this one! I agree, if this draws from the AA pool, or normal xp pool, then default should have been *OFF*.

Ok, apparently you were not in the Dev Chat.

Yes it takes about 20% of the exp from normal, a little more from AA (I think that is almost an exact quote).

Hope this answers your questions.

I am not using the Defualt UI but a player made one instead.

Is there a command key stroke I can use to call up Leadership to turn it off/on?

Look for an updated version of your UI. Failing that, load the default and push the L key to open the window.
