Sewer rats, oozes, and scorpions inhabit the tightly-quartered bowels of Freeport. Misfortuned citizens who wandered too close to the sewage system are now undead and concerned mostly with consuming the brains of adventurers passing by. A band of Shadowhand thieves have a few camps and hideouts down here. They are more interested in your pocket change than your brains; however, will slay you just as well.

A black mark for the city, one wonders how the Freeport Militia let the sewer system get to its current state.

Phinigel TLP zone off. Mobs way too hard.

I got one-shotted by a blue spectre here on Phinigel. The mobs seem way too hard for their level. A grey ooze fought like a blue my level (was 17 before I died).

It was revamped for Prophecy of Ro. They've taken all the tuned to that era drops out on prior TLP, but the NPC seemed hard to me on Vulak (2 progression server eras ago). In their defense, the zone as currently tuned is not hard in TSS+ era gear for the level.
Great for levels 12 to 20

I played on this with my (then) level 18-ish human pally, and also my 14-ish ogre berserker several months ago. Great fun! As you level, you can work your way into the inner sanctum where most of the undead are. The loot is decent for the level, and I was always soloing in here. It's easy enough to run when you get into trouble, though the bandit casters can fear you, and are underconned as well, imo, so I preferred to fight the undead.

Doing the caiman quest in south ro will net you *much* faster experience though, so come here for a little variety and loot, and leave the experience grind for South Ro. (Prophecy of Ro expansion needed for the caiman quest btw)

If you maneuver through here with your map on (I have my map in the lower-right corner of my screen) then getting lost should not be a problem, even while fleeing enemies.

As far as I could tell, the oozes and mosquitos further into the caverns have "undead" aggro (they'd attack me even when conning green).

Hope this post helped someone out!

I've seen this is multiple zones after the PoR release (2/24/2006).
Don't think its just the sewers.

i just ran thru the new sewers and it seemed to me(lvl 70 pally) to be a lvl 12+ or could be off a few lvls, its kinda hard to tell when mobs die in 1 hit but there was a named who dropped a melee ring with 5 str sta agi 20 hp and 10 mana/end and plenty of skellies rats and thieves along with a few blobs , flies and scorpions so basicaly a cool spot for a new adventurer with some reward for the risk.this is just 1 pally's opinion
