The Lavastorm Mountains make for a treacherous terrain, so watch your step as you make your way through the area, being mindful of some signifcant falls.

Not long ago, some miners broke through to the dragon nesting grounds of northern Antonica. These Broodlands can be reached through a network of caves in Lavastorm's north. Also in these caves are two factions of adventurers, each offering expeditions and tasks into the Broodlands. They are Norrath's Keepers and the Dark Reign, and they strictly oppose one another. This mountain range is also home to many other places of interest:

Najena's dungeon is found in the southeast while Nektulos Forest lies in the south. In the cliffs along the lava lake is the entrance to Nagafen's Lair while Solusek's Eye, named after the lava lake and home to the Goblins of Fire Peak, sits in the west.

All the while, there are swarms of drakes, fire imps and elementals, goblins, dervishes, basilisks, undead, and lavaspinners roaming the area. Also, beware the lava dragon, Tirranun, who has been known to make occasional appearances around the lava lake. Of course if you hear him approaching, it's probably already too late...

I am currently a 14th lvl Druid, and I have been in lavastorm for about 1 1/2 hours worth of playing time, and I have only 2 bubbles to go to 15th... remember, snare, expulse summoned. The best mob's to attack that I've found are the lava crawlers. You can take out yellow's without even thinking about it. Red's are a bit harder, but as long as you keep it snared, you won't have any problems with them either. The hardest thing for me in this zone is just finding the crawlers to kill. They are basically snakes, and so they are kinda hard to spot from a distance.

Elementals can be taken out easily as well, but be warned... they agro very easily. This is the reason why I try to stay away from them.

I've blasted a lava crawler while another crawler was literally right next to the one I was attacking, and it never even looked my way.

Good luck, and happy hunting!!!

I have arrived here at level 10 and for an ogre warrior the place is a dream. I do have some serious down time but I can solo the snot outta some fire drakes. I can usually get about 2 before I have to sit down and bandaid myself back to half, then I usually wait until I am 75% full before I go play with another one. Warriors have a slow time here because of downtime, but most of that is negligable due to the cleric and such who pass through or hunt there as well. Great place to get all your skill up and levels to go with them. I would recommend though waiting until at least 11 before coming if your not buffed out the wazzoo and have a little twinkie good weapon. This place rocks though and I will be here for a while.'

When done with leveling in Lava I plan to move into Najena and get some bronze armor. That the only place I knwo of to get large bronze. Anyone know where I could possibly buy some large bronze?

Well, Hope ya'll have fun and I'll see ya'll there.

Bronze armor can't be bought in stores. The only other place besides Najena to get large bronze armor are the ogres in West Karana
What Ive learned...

Hallo,
As a 14th magician I studied up on the page of Lavastorm preparing (and hoping) that the zone would take me from 12th to 16th somewhat quickly and lucratively(sp?)
So far it has been, went from 12th to 14th in little over a day (just a few hours) and have made at least 50pp in getting that exp. What I have found out so far is...

Drakes are good to kill. Heh, at first I was ignoring them after killing a few and getting hardly any xp for it, but once I went to the gypsies and starting pawning the items I found that I was making about 6g a kill of them. They are rather easy to kill, I just dump a few spells into it and let my pet finish it off, never lost more than 2 bubbles of health (from the ones that seem to have AOE fire shields or something of the like)

Basilisks are gods in this zone. Somewhat harder to kill, that stone spell is a stunner- altho it only stops my pet for about 2 seconds it locked me up for about 8-10 on average. Rather hard hitters if you rely on pets with low HP (around the 20s per hit usually on a Water Ele) but VERY good drops. The Eggs alone get me 6g and the stalks are around 4g, although they dont really drop coins I have gotten around a plat a kill.

Dervishes. Mainy people dont like them from what Ive gathered while hunting. I do. They con black and yellow to me all the time (and blue to, mainly even fight tho) and go down rather easy and seem to have trouble hitting a magician in melee. They drop bricks of ore that weigh 15lbs and sell for 4g. That may seem horrible but I get around 2-4 bricks a kill, and with the gypsies a hop skip and jump away from the entrance there is no reason not to stock up on the ore and go pawn it, if you just leave it on the ground your going to be giving up several plat during your stay here.

Fire Imps and Sprites. These things are nasty, yes. They aggro, everyone told me that the elementals were the only aggresive creatures in this zone but the Imps and Sprites are as well. If Im at half mana or above I can take them, altho it will cost me all my mana and half my health and 50/50 chance my pet bites it. I havent killed enough of them to get a good idea of loot but what Ive got so far is a good amount of coin (2g-4g) and gemstones or jewlery(bloodstone ring, silver earring). If they catch me under half mana it gets bad.

Fire Elementals. I HATE them. Avoid them whenever I can. Even the blue ones give me a nasty run. You cannot dispell the fire shield on a fire elemental so whatever is hitting it is going to take damage per whack, plus like our ele's the thing is a nasty damage dealer. Add all this pain to the fact that I have killed about 8 of these things and never gotten one copper from them and they suck. I guess the only good thing would be they con red to me all the time, good xp getter from a land of mostly blues. (save those rock snake things and the alligators or whatever they are.)

One last thing, the gypsy camp is close to the zone and where I do all my pawning at but you have to be careful. The monsters hover around that place like you wouldnt believe, if you are in a group the camp would be a prime spot to sit n kill. Drakes,Dervishes, and Elementals have always been there when I went to pawn and made pawning a nasty bit of quickpawn and run. For some reason I cant explain sometimes the gypsies just disapear. Ill be sitting there pawning, stop, get ready to go out and they will all be gone. A few minutes later they pop back up outside there tents. Happened a few times, very odd.

Ill post any new info I get as I learn it ;)

Another trick to add to your ******** Either pull with or quickly cast cancel magic on the fire elementals. It removes their fire shield which tends to cause a lot of damage. Once this is done you'll find they go down much faster (lack of HP). Good hunting.
RE: What Ive learned...(whoops I forgot something)
# Mar 17 2001 at 2:21 PM Rating: Default
Jeriah again,
The Goblin camps. Nasty bit of work. They are somewhat easy to kill but there are usually about four of them in the camp and they dont seem to be bothered by my elementals taunt (Water nor Earth) so when four of them gang up on me it gets frantic. The good part is I have gotten bronze weapons over 50% of the time I have killed them, so thats a few plat in my pocket.

I do most of my hunting solo so if you have a partner they wont cause you many problems, but alone you have to be careful as a mage because if you a)blast one from afar all of them will come at you and ignore your pet and b)send the pet in to get them focused on him while you cast they will cut him down in just a few seconds (My Earth bit the dust even when he conned even to me in enough time to let me cast 2 spells.)

Oh, and Ive yet to see this woman necromancer or whatever she is that is supposed to drop a glowing torch, if anyone can help me out with a loc and battle experience It would be appreciated. Just think solo 14th, what to do, how to live ;)

ok i have a SK and basilisks are easy even with their stun. My life bar never drops below half and am only twinked* you could say with a shiny brass shield and some mantle of something i bought for 10pp in EC. My MR is 45 so i resist almost half the time but trust me these can be taken easily it is just annoying watching yourself get eaten while sitting there.

Great for people with high lag in other zones
# Feb 27 2001 at 4:36 AM Rating: Default
I play with a 56k modem, so I am much more succeptible to lag than most people on Everwuest who use broadband. In order to cut down on this lag I look for zones with fewer people in them. I started a dark elf shadow knight, because Nektulos forest is pretty calm, and lavastorm is great in the teens. I have walked through the tunnel in EC, and it took me a hlaf hour to walk through because of lag. If you are sick of dealing with lag, find uncrowded zones like Lavastorm. Najena, a neighboring zone, is also pretty quiet and will take it easy on all us lag masters with slow connections.
Snare: Use It
# Feb 21 2001 at 3:06 PM Rating: Default
Snare was made for this zone. Especially if you play a short character. And I am not just talking about aggro issues (hello fire elemental, i see you brought a friend back with ya).

If you fight fire drakes, they will start running away when they still have a fairly decent amount of health left. And if you are short, you really have to look up some to get a good idea of where you need to be to hit the durn thing.

Now, when you take all the rocks, the lava, and the fire elementals and imps running around, not being able to see where you are going just aint too good.

Snare, baby. Snare.

At level 12 mages get Ward Summoned, and it looks really cool until you see a druid at work. The spells I mem when I hunt in Lavastorm include 1)Cancel Magic for those pesky imps, sprites and elementals; 2)the water pet (fire bad!); 3)Shock of Blades for the drakes, basilisks and dervishes; 4)Ward Summoned for the imps, sprites, crawlers, and elementals; 5)Renew Elements because it works decently at this level; 6)Shield of Fire, because every little bit helps (cast on yourself to see what damage it's doing); 7)Burnout; and finally 8)Gate, no explanation needed there I hope.

As a high elf I had good success hunting near the druid ring, and some at Najena's gates and the zone to Nektulos but there is often competition for spawns there. I'm a smith also, so a few Dimensional Pockets can hold my ore until I get back to Freeport, or I can sell to the gypsies.

A general mage tip that strongly applies here: summon a load of bandages and work on that Bind Wound skill. You'll get hurt in many situations, what with lava and the drakes' breath weapon, plus some critters demand you tank some so that your pet won't die a horrible death and then YOU die a horrible death. My Bind Wound is about 80 and one application can let me take about two more bites from a croc in Oasis, sparing my pet a few precious HP.

Also another note with the recent patch update add Rain of Blades in our repetoire for available spells to use. ;)

My line up here from 12-16 (in 2 days!)

1) Ward Summoned
2) Shock of Blades
3) Rain of Blades
4) Cancel Magic
5) Fire Shield

That's it the rest is eye candy, well besides Gate ;)

Hehe

Seriously I recommend the Water pet, I tried them all in this zone and this one works best. Remember to burnout and fire shield your pet before every battle. For those of ou that do not know Fire shield adds +10 to your save vs. damage, plus with a staff of warding at 16 adds another +5 so +15 total not to shabby.

Anyhow you'll make loads of money in this zone, easily enough for your level 16 spells if you come in at 12.

Good Luck

This is one of my favorite zones in all Norrath..which is kinda funny since that one, the everfrost is my second fav and two since I normaly play light races on a pvp server I dont get to hunt here as often as I'd like..

Lavastorm to me is the post newbie level zone for dark races..excuding the iksar..I've never played a druid so I cant comment on that angle but from shadowknights to enchanters this zone is great for your newbie inkie. Its is also where I take my troll when I tired of adventures in the Rathe mountians.

I tend to solo too much for my own good perhaps, which leads to another reason I like lava so much..that being its is easy to find a group around neriak that you can lead on some exciting adventure in this fissure filled fuming land. Around lvl 7 or 8 is when you should first consider hunting here and you will need a friend or two to help you at those lvls. I recomend that you stick to fire drakes as they are easy prey and give nice loot and exp for a small group of two or three. However...my first experience in lava was in a full group and it was quite enjoyable as we just zapped the pants off anything that moved..

Now the important details...first and likely the most important thing I could possibly pass on to you is to recommend that you DO NOT ATTACK elementals or fire imps unless you have a full group of 9+ casters. The damage shields these buggers got are so very annoying and they will just chew your tank's life away with every hit. If you are just a bunch of casters root and nuke away...let the tanks sit the battle out cause if they fight the will get banged up bad.

IF you are a solo (10+) or group of two and rely on melee'n at some point you must stick to drakes until you are much stronger and by that time you should porb be in Oasis. As I mentioned before if you can root or have a pet you dont mind losing go after those ele's and fire imps.

In a large group you will want to try and hunt lava cralwers (big fyre snakes), lava basiliks, and Rock Dervs (big spinning rocks) as they provide the best exp and the best loot. The Rock Dervs drops multiple blocks of ore which can sell for 3-6 gold and the Basiliks drop eggs and eyestocks which also sell very well. Be sure if you want to pull a basiliks that you are close to your group as there attack is a powerful stun spell that will keep you immoblised long enough for the creature to molest you then stun you again. Succesful pulling basiliks is truly an artform.

Almost every critter in this zone drops something that sells for at least a gold or more. IT is importnat to place your basiliks eggs deep in your backpack and deep in your inventory to avoid eating them. Also several items droped by imps and drakes can be sold to welathy rogues for use in rogue poison..such as "bile"

To be honest I have not spent a lot of time really exploring this zone for there are two superb hunting areas and no real need to endanger yourself by venturing further (at least at the lvls your would be hunting here). Those two would be right out at the end of the canyon to Nerkros forest and way to the right of that infront of the ruined doors of Nagena. JUst stand on a peak and shoot/throw at/zap whatever any critters that you find appealing..its really very easy and only the elementals will assist eachother..another reason for avoiding those. In fact you must be careful that other critters do not steal your kil and many of the beasties use AE fire spells that may hit a stray drake or whatever and they will assult your prey and perhaps steal it from you.

Necro soloing
# Aug 31 2000 at 4:44 PM Rating: Default
If you are a soloing necro (lvl 12-16), LavaStorm can provide great xp and loot.

The Najena/Lavastorm cave is a safe place to "fish" from.

Here is my method:
In cave, summon a pet (make sure it is decent strength), go to the mouth of the cave and *look around* (especially to the right, at the hill) to ensure no Fire Imps or Fire elementals are going to ruin your day. If the coast is clear, go out to the area just outside of the cave. Pull a fire drake, lava basilisk or rock dervish that is not red with the spell engulfing darkness. Run into the cave and, if you have time, snap off a siphon strength and send pet to engage. Hit the mob with leech and posion bolt then melee the beastie. Leech is what allows you to somewhat safely melee the creature as it heals you over time and is absolutely critical if you are taking on basilisks. If you get the chance, kill the mob with a life drain spell to steal the kill from your pet (no need to share xp with him, right?).

After the combat is over, you should have near to max hp from the leech spell so cast dark pact and meditate back up. Monsters will not come into the cave unless someone trains them in so you can camp toward the back in safety. Repeat as necessary :)

One of the greatest things about the basilisks is their eggs: 6gp a hit and they are stackable! In fact, all loot in LavaStorm is stackable except the iron ore from the Rock Dervs (which weighs in at a meaty 15 each!). Fire drakes make nice light snacks for the times when your pet is full health but you are down a few hit points and mana. They give good loot too (up to a couple gold, gems and body parts).

I always have over 70% health and mana before thinking about pulling something (at lvl 13) because it is just too frequent for an elemental or Imp to come up behind you and change the odds. Monsters often come down that hill (to the north) very quickly.

One last tid bit: use the space bar to jump onto the ramp when going into the cave and a monster is coming for you. It is very easy to miss the ramp and you don't want to ***** around with getting on it when you need to zone. Ya you may look silly, but it is always better that then "Loading, please wait".

Good hunting to you.

I tried this strategy out with my lvl 13 Nec and it proved to be an excellent way to quickly level.

Good monsters to pick on are the Basilisks and Rock Dervs. Both give excellent exp and items. Fire Drakes seemed to give much lower exp but again they do drop good, stackable items. Basilisks use stun a lot so it's best to Leech them as soon as possible if you're getting in to the fight but they are quite easy to kill with a pet.

I avoided Fire Imps & Sprites after having to zone on two occasions when getting in to a fight with them. Fortunately they stay far enough away from the Najena cave entrance so you can pull a monster safely to there.

I also found that the monsters always resist the Heat Blood spell. Maybe it was just my bad luck. Anyone else found this?
RE: Necro soloing
# Dec 16 2000 at 3:08 PM Rating: Decent
Heat Blood has never worked for me in Lavastorm. The MoB's live in lava and heat, heatblood is just a tickle to them. The Basilisks also drop eggs that can be sold for 5+gp. not bad for a stackable item.

All creatures in lavastorm has HUGE fire resistance. So you have to avoid these spells.

Soloing
# Aug 28 2000 at 2:01 AM Rating: Good
Around levels 14-16, soloing in the region of the Druid Ring is really sweet... However, for enchanters like myself, there are a couple of dangers. Imps, for instance... worse even than the elementals, have the fire shields that often cause more damage than their own attacks... If you're pet gets in on the fight and if you haven't used cancel magic on the imp, you're quite fried unless you want to become a wizard and root and nuke for the rest of the fight (possible, but not likely.) However, that same Imp would make a seriously deadly charmie. This place is also an enchanter's paradise in that the spawns here often drop as much as 2 bloodstones each, not to mention generous amounts of Onyx, Carnelian, and Star Rose Quartz.
Casters should have good success in here!
# Aug 26 2000 at 5:29 PM Rating: Good
I play a dark elf enchanter and this place got me from level 12 to 16, so I know most of the beasties in here and great places to hunt.

I mainly soloed, because players at that level didn't quite understand my powers just yet, and I was sick of group-mates getting me killed! That said, I will say first...cast a blue pet or better (reclaim energy actually is conjuration, so if you get a pet you don't like, cast again...you'll luv yer pet, trust me!), then buff it with whatever spells available to your class. After medding to get some mana back, you should really have your pet guard a specific area, because they can be annoying tagging along and getting in the way when trying to scout out beasties, (I wish I had that option! 'Member, I'm an enchanter).

After planting your pet to where you want him to stay, you need to consider the beasties in the zone. For level 12, I'd say hunt drakes up the wazoo, decent loot, and xp...the biles can be sold to vendors or rogues (poison components), drake scales are cheap but stackable, and you get the occasionally (rare drop) gem or piece of jewelry. These should level you up nicely, but beware the roaming fire imp and/or fire elemental. These two are THE most aggressive beasties in this zone. Avoid them till later levels....mez or root them and break for the zone, THEY WILL KILL YOU AT THIS LEVEL! Heed my words or pay the price.

Level 13 I stuck to drakes and tried the elementals, with a dash of lava basilisks. When enchanters fight elementals (or imps), cast cancel magic first, cast it until it doesn't show you or your pet being burned, otherwise, say bye-bye to pet and hello death! Then Tashan, languid pace, choke, debuff strength isn't necessary, but helps pet and you when you melee to beat down the beasties. Lava basilisks love to stun so be careful, and they hit REAL hard so get off that languid pace or you and your pet are toast. When fighting these I pulled with Tashan, LP'd em, then choked, and for fun would nuke them with Chaotic feedback.

Level 14 Drakes weren't the best source of xp, so I challenged basilisks, elementals, and imps. Use the same guidelines from above, especially with imps, cancel the fire-shield that they have and you'll be fine. Imps cast a 20 point DD fire spell that hurts and hit very hard! But they give THE best xp, next to lava crawlers. Just remember to con them first. 'Evens' will smear you across the mountains and blues have the tendancies to resist spells at times so just be careful.

Level 15 Elementals, imps, rock dervs, and basilisks will give you righteous xp.

Level 16 A few elementals are green now, but some can be still yellow so place it safe with elementals and con them EVERY time, imps are the same way, cept they round out at 15 tops. Dervs provide major xp now (basilisks, too), I find a good strategy when taking on the non-fire-shield beasties in Lava; Mez them, tashan, languid pace and disempower them, and they will wiat till you melee or choke them, which is the next spell after disempower! Don't wait, spells don't last forever! =0)
If mez is resisted, don't panic, just skip that part of the above instructions and you'll do fine. Lava crawlers should be feared, I tried one at level 16, con it, it was blue...I couldn't make it to the zone in time and, well, you get the picture.

Well that's it for the beasties. Places to hunt, just inside the entrance to Najena is great, zone into the dungeon to avoid death, not to far cause there is a skellie in there. And the zone to Nektulos forest has an open area great for hunting, but is a ways to the zone point, so going from toe-to-toe to fleeing-for-life can get you killed if you wait too long in the front of the zone.

Another few tid-bits: Elementals/lava crawlers require a magic weapon; dark elves fighting in the front may want to keep an eye out for the goblin runner, for the feather-wieght pouch quest; use alliance and illusion:human to sell to gypsies if you have to; and last but not least-have fun and don't die!

PS- I have only fought in the two areas I've said so far, I didn't explore much, cause fearing for one's life can do that sometimes!

Thanks for listening (reading)

I completely forgot about the other casters!

Wizards should root and nuke dervs and the rest, great xp; magicians heat based spells are completely useless in here, as well as necros heat blood line of spells...look around for a sec. If these baddies can tolerate the smoking pits of lava around each corner your pissant spell's is only going to **** them off!
(this is for all fire based attacks I suppose, they just don't work here!)

Mages should use ward summoned on elementals/imps and (trumpets) lava crawlers! All of these beasties are summoned and can be hit with that nasty spell, therefore, mages should use a different approach to taking anything down in here. Which, unfortunately I cannot give ye, remember I play an enchanter. My roommate plays a necro and I'm seeing him take down basilisks, elementals, imps, dervs, and A (notice the singularity!) lava crawler at level 15. I'm sure mages should know that water pets and there spells should work wonders along with ward summoned.

Try it and let me know how any of this works. I hope my wisdom will help anyone who wants to trek into Lavastorm =0)

Necromancers, you can come here at around 13 or 14. An important note - your favorite DOT, Heat Blood, will not work! That is ok, because the mobs here do not help each other unless they are of the same exact type. By this, I mean that imps do not help drakes, who do not help elementals, etc. The only aggro mobs to a necromancer were the elementals, who are aggro to everyone. Fear kite as much as possible, and cast darkness until it sticks, as you will be running all over. Throw all your DOTs on them, including Leach. I also recommend you avoid the imps, but the mob of choice is the rock dervish. Good XP, and good loot as well. Those heavy ore blocks sell for 4 gold to the gypsies in the zone. Went from 14 to 16 here safely and rather quickly. You could stay and get XP probably until 18 at an ok rate, but I like seeing new things, and moved on to camp Trissa.

Note elementals, imps, and sprites while not helping one another have a HUGE agro range.

Be forewarned. LavaStorm is a cruel but rewarding zone.

This zone is pretty nice for all you aspiring druids out there. at 14 we get expulse summoned, a wonderful little spell that does around 91 damage to summoned MOBs. now in this zone, that spell works against fire imps, fire elementals, and lava crawlers (yes the snakes are summoned and only Verant knows why). dont go after basilisks they aint summoned and they paralyze too. You can hunt by the entrance to Najena (big giant doors)theres a lot of good creatures and if your in over your head zone into najena. the only thing that spawns in najena by the zone is giant skeles and they spawn far enough away that they wont attack you. Watch out for: A)Shadowed men on a hill by the nek zone tunnel B)Goblin camps on hills C)Fire imps hit very hard and are tougher than they con D)LAVA! dont fall in Soluseks eye now ehehe. Ok good luck everyone and Tunare bless

This is all well and good unless you play on a PVP team server.. DE's are crawling all over this zone.
Solo Near Druid Ring
# Aug 23 2000 at 11:42 AM Rating: Excellent
This zone in under-utilized, and the majority of people who do fight here fight at the entrance of Najena, meaning frequent trains to that zone. If you are low on life and sitting there meditating, a train will likely mean death.

Soooo, get away from Najena and solo near the druid ring. There are two major benefits to soloing here. First, there are many high level characters popping in and hanging out, so you can often get uber-buffs. (If you feel guilty asking for buffs, carry stacks of batwings, fish scales, bones, etc. to trade for buffs). Secondly, you are near the entrance to the Temple of Sol Ro, meaning a TRAIN-FREE ZONE. You can even zone in to med or heal in absolute safety if you desire.

The zone critters get near the druid ring, making for easy hunting, but I haven't seen them AT the ring, so it's usually a safe med/heal spot. If you do train to the ring, someone there can easily dispatch the critter, whereas if you train to Najena you will kill people.

Considering that it doesn't take much longer to reach the ring from zone than it does to reach Najena, I am simply amazed that more people don't fight near the ring. There is also a goblin camp right above the SolB zone, for a group looking for a place to fight. I highly reccomend the area around the druid ring and Temple of Sol Ro.

Any druid between levels 14 and 19 who isnt in Lavastorm is insane. This zone is PACKED with level 12 to 19 (rarely) summoned creatures. All you need is SoW, Snare, and Expel Summoned. You can go from 14 to 19 in 24 hours /played solo easy. The zone walls are mostly safe places to kite, as is the nektulos zone cooridor.
Lava Crawlers, Fire Imps, and Fire Elementals are all summoned.
Once you get to 19 you can go get your teleport spells and take your pick of zones to fight in, or you can get a partner and move into Najena. There are many elementals of higher level in this zone, as well as a lot of other stuff. If you take in a Cleric with you then the Skeleton/Elemental combination will provide excellent experience for a few levels.

you dont have to wait until 14, you can go here at 12, although it might be a little harder. you ward summoned spell does 41dmg and takes 30mana. just kite the summoned and watch out for aggrosive ones, if you bring another druid friend you'll gain exp like crazy. 14-19 in 24hours? you must really suck. i gain lvls out of lavastorm in 3-5hours, and lavastorm is exp heaven. plus the monsters dont have all that much hp, and druids can kill yellows very easily. my advice is to snare a yellow, nuke it to death, med, wash rince repeat.

Ha, this place is a dream Amigos, aside form awsome Xp from just about any and everything, you get some pretty decent loot and can sell it for some decent cash. Face it druids at low lvl's aren't the greatest class at making money so every bit helps. My best style here was picking up a partner (caster class) and reaking havok
