Once known as the Greenfields, this area was the site of much bloodshed during the battle between Discord's forces and the Dragorns. (Of note with the Seeds of Destruction expansion, you can go back in time to the Bloodfields as it appeared prior to this battle.)

This is a great zone to grind xp in. Most the trash mobs are dark blue to level 61. The trash hits up to 325 ish the named here are yellow to 61 summon and hit low 400s. I have not seen a mob here yet do chaos claws. The casters here buff their friends with a dmg shield buff, fought chanter wizzy and mage casters here. There are a lot of roamers here, the mobs have a good size aggro range.

Have fun safe hunting.

Would an ok geared 61 BL and 61 Druid be able to duo this zone?

Which mobs would be handlable and where would be a good place to set up camp?

Thanks for any advice.

My suggestion is to enter through DS and set up camp at the first four way intersection past the room full of Dragorns. No roamers in the passage. There is a named Priest that drops a rare +10 ATK aug. Mobs are easily lulled and can be slowed easily. I two-boxed there for quite awhile with my Ranger and Cleric.

Hi a dragorn box popped today after we killed a mob. Was huge and we couldn't open it. Any idea what is it for?

Is there a map of all the connecting zones? Been gone for a year and just got this exp. Had to... I got the exp and first kill, dinged to lvl 66. Anyway, I'm trying to learn all the new zones and wondering if anyone has a link to a map with all the new connecting zones...?

Talk about the New Zones?

I'm a 56 necromancer, so most of the new zones are probably too high for me to even try to enter. In fact, even the very first zone is full of blue KoS mobs.

My only real interest right now is in finding the city zone, if there is one.

But, other than that, my big request is that someone higher level than me, who's actually been there a lot, bother writing up a little description of each new OoW zone, in its respective "strategy discussion" section of Allakhazam.

This would help the MANY of us who know nothing about the zones, especially since EQAtlas is absolutely no help in any recent expansion.

Try www.mapfiend.com or www.eq-toolbox.com for your maps to each of the zones.

What I'm asking for is a /description/ of the zones, I have all the in-game maps already.

What I don't have is any knowledge of what the zones are like, or which ones to visit at a 56 necro.

I don't even know where, if it exists, the usual city zone is for this expansion. Or the combat zone which contains quest/vendor NPCs, for that matter.

A Fireflow Stone (the +4 agility one) dropped off a dragorn commoner in the front area of the zone. Nothing special or different about the mob. I assume it to be a random mob drop.
Targeting

Fighting here somewhat lately. Just curious if anyone else had this problem. Zoned, killed way into castle, fought through to gate area. In this area the floor is wooden plank. The problem we had was targeting mobs on this floor type. It may just be a problem that they can fix with software, but at one point a mob was engaged and then effectively disappeared but was still attacking. Group could just barely see the very tops of his tag which made targeting problematic and sometimes nothing at all was displayed (no mob form, no tag) which made targeting more or less impossible and yet the fight continued.

Just curious if anyone else had experienced this problem or if it is just a bug that really needs fixing?

This is still a problem.. except it seems like the mob drops WAY below the floor now. Once a mob dropped below the floor and my Wizard cast shifting sight on him (great thing to do when you "loose" a mob). The mob was standing by 4 or 5 other corpses that probably died via some dot. Eventually, the live mobs will warp somewhere, and come back.

I was argo kiting with a druid (or two) when this happened. We just shortened the length of the kite to avoid engaging the mob on the wooden floor areas.

Met this monk-looking fellow up on top of the walls near the entrance to the field. He was indifferent con to everyone in the group and would not speak to any of us other then to tell us that he wouldn'tspeak to us. Thinking he is for a quest to be revealed later. To get to him, we ran up the ramp in the first clearing, ran along the top of the wall and then left and up through a twisting tunnel (great view from up there by the way). He is red-con at 65. At least he didn't kill us =)
