Mistmoore Catacombs expeditions are triggered by speaking with NPCs in the Butcherblock Wayfarer's camp (a little ways west of the zone to Greater Faydark).

Beneath Faydwer's fog-clad surface, darkness flows through tendril-like tunnels. Shielded from the daylight, unseen and unstoppable, the children of twilight lie in wait. Vampires and other horrors move beneath the unsuspecting citizens of Faydwer like foul blood through a network of veins... with Castle Mistmoore as its undying heart. Will you be able to destroy this evil before twilight's arrival?

had a mission to kill some Midwife in Mistmoore Catacombs: Cesspit of Putrescence. had group set up as: 63 monk 65 Shadowknight (me) 65 cleric 65 rogue and 65 warrior. first room was a few mobs that looked like they ran away from Crypt of Decay. one was a caster *seemed to be necro* other was a warrior type. hit about 200 to 300 normally. after clearing the room of the two mobs ran into a room with stairs. laying on the ground was A Bitten Victim. knowing the curiosity of a new zone we pulled the vampire in corner and killed it, then had everyone leave room and monk smack the victim. spawned two blue con spiders that killed monk *due to FD fail* had me and warrior run in and tank each one as cleric clicky rezed monk. mobs here dont got very many hp. next room rogue was having trouble cause about 50 traps in it and another bitten victim. killed the 4 mobs in room then the victim *which spawned two more spiders* killed htem then looked in side room. saw A Dark Chest in the room. pulled the two mobs in room with chest and killed them. i was being stupid ran in inspected chest then tried opening it. got hit with some weird trap that made all in my group cept me and cleric DRUNK. started pulling the next room over with shadow mobs in it. got a Ornate Blood Sword from one. stats were kinda crappy. 27 delay 8 dmg with few small stats. really neat graphic on it. another mob dropped a +6 agi gem for augmentation. gave to rogue since he was only one in group to actually use agi. started pulling a room full of tornados of flesh and bones. killed em off then tried for the remaining time we had to single pull the next room. no avail so we ran out of time and left zone. so id suggest a cleric with kei. enchanter tank with lot of hp and a lot of DPS if you do assassination missions.

Yeah, poking around on stuff as you go plus deaths = time runs out. Kill kill kill then come back for the chests if ya like seems to work best. We even gave up on using the rogue to scout pretty quick and just take the trap damage typically without concern (the static floor traps and such don't hit to hard in my exp), the things that slow ya down are those nasty "sprung" traps that do the drunk thing or serious DoT's.
