Farsoth Mal, son of the Ishva Mal, concocted a plan to slay his father by summoning an other-worldly beast into the Lair of Splitpaw. Unfortunately, his plan backfired and a portal opened up from the planes, giving way to waves of fierce elementals which quickly overtook the dungeon.

Formerly inhabited by the Splitpaw Clan of gnolls, this underground area off South Karana has been invaded by a pack of planar elementals. It is a very dangerous place for its level as elementals patrol almost the entire zone in large numbers. There are not many safe spots here; you'll be best off in a group before trekking into Infected Paw.

Once my SK (2nd main) got mortal coil aa #1 the other sk's in chat informed me to begin swarming in paw to I could get used to doing it. My 75 SK with MC3 is able to clear the entire top area before repops provided your properly geared & mobs are 75% LB / 25% DB (LB needed for mc to go off). My SK is fully Katta vendor raid geared, Fabled everything else. Fabled Gem Encrusted Axe & some fabled shield I looted in PoT2. Best advice for sk's new to swarming, pull 6 tops, wait for mc to go off then go round up 10. Once you get better at it go round up 1/4 of the zone. This is great exp, and good to learn so when you hit the high end mobs you know what your doing. At 75 with MC3 I get 25-27 aa's per LoD. If your PLing anyone or boxing, park them in the back room where there are no spawns.
