I wanted to add a couple of corrections. First when a war is announced and the sides are chosen, the attacker side spawns 5 mobs, but the defender side only spawns 3 actual defender mobs. It can look like 5 because the defenders spawn in a line immediately in front of the 2 guardians that are usually there. If you want to help the attacking side, get to the defender side early and pull the 2 regular guardians out of the way. Second, the outpost is taken over by whichever side takes out the other 2, whether it be sonic wolf, owlbear or grimling, and a named mob of that type will spawn in the outpost to be killed to end the war.

There is a development on Lanys that I was wondering if anyone else had seen though. On Lanys, the owlbears have taken over the grimling area but in the sonic wolf area there is nothing spawning at all. No owlbears, no sonic wolves, no grimlings, nothing. I petitioned about it and was told that this is not a bug but part of how the war was supposed to work and the area would not be respawned. I am just starting my search for info about this so if I missed something obvious or someone has seen this and figured it out, please post and let me know. Thanks!

Well I guess you simply didnt read my post. The owlbears are bugged. They DO NOT take over ths sharval camp and if they own all three camps and they are killed within the sonic wolf cave they DO NOT repop in there. I saw this happen first hand several times and it always has the same effect. My guess is if it's suppose to happen like that It must be just to show you how weak the owls are considering they are the easiest of the three main mobs in the zone to kill and that they cant take over the tiger camp.

And as far as the defenders 5 do in fact pop. The only area where you will not see 5 defenders is the sonic wolf cave. Here only 3 in fact do pop. I have seen 5 defenders at both the grimling and owl caves (in fact I killed them there) So unless they changed/nerfed the spawn there are 5 defenders at those locations. And if it has changed those two regular mobs may be considered defenders since they will infact aggro you anyway if you attack (but they dont summon.)
