Felwithe is the city of High Elves. It is located along the eastern boundary of the Greater Faydark and is divided in two sections. This is the northern part of the city (accessed directly from the Faydark) and is where you'll find the Paladin and Cleric guilds as well as the bank and numerous vendor houses.

On Test Server (Won't hit Live til the patch on the....15th?) there is a new npc in Felwith named "Lady Caroline of Thex" that gives out a task (For all classes but the task seems to be different for each class) for the epic ornamentations. I'll start working on gathering details and hopefully by the time this npc reaches Live I'll have some more solid info :) Just a heads up :P

I remember when I fell into the water under the bridge. I think I had to recall (what's that spell again?) just so that I wouldn't drown.

Once I considered deleting Arwen and replace her with a human cleric (bad idea), but she's like a childhood friend. And now all I have is memories of her.

I could use some help, but it's something to do with my sig. I'm trying to keep a reminder of Arwen. Easy to mimic.

I do believe i read the history of Felwithe somewhere. . .

I would just like to comment on my home city, and give you a little history behind it. If you come to Felwithe you will find a mostly peaceful town full o knowledge and culture. In this city lives mostly a race of Koada'Dal (High Elves).
The Koada'Dal and Feir'Dal (Wood Elves) originally came to Faydwer from Tunaria (Antonica) because of one being... Solusek Ro. Ro was outraged that the Koada'Dal and Feir'Dal had many blessings given to them by Tunare and he was also Jealous or Tunare, The Mother of All. In his anger he arched the back of a great mountain so that the feirce sun shone upon Tunaria. Following that he dried up everything. Their Trees, Water, and even the landscape, but there turns out to be another one outraged.
Innoruuk, The Prince of Hate, had a deep hate for Tunare because she had not included him in her pact she made with other gods to protect and secure Norrath. He then tried to lure the Elven Prince into the Plane of Hate to pervert him, but it turns out that the King and Queen Elf decided to go in his place. Innoruuk was so shocked with his good deal he quickly swept them off to the Plane of Hate. There he tortured them, made them turn against each other, and put them in his own immage... Teir'Dal (Dark Elves). The Elves having lost their Queen, King and, land set for an Exudus across The Ocean of Tears to Faydwer. There they set up their new homes. The King and Queen are now the King and Queen of Neriak, and Solusek got his revenge thus turning the main Tunarian Elven City, Takish Hiz, into what is now The Deserts of Ro.
Well I can't say I can complain being a Koada'Dal for we have restored much of our Glory. I only hope we can Defeat Innoruuk and Sulusek Ro, but before then I wish to lead a Crusade against the Teir'Dal.

Signed, Fendayen Faydefender

fendayen my high elf friend i shall help you in your fight agasint those untrustworthly teri'dal.they shouldn't even have the right to use elf in there races name.they set a bad exmaple for all the other elfs.for see most elfs are followers of tunare, mother of all.we try to be peaceful.we mean no harm agasint any race till that unworth solusek ro got jealous of the elves because tunare gave us blessing.tunare she ment no harm and she hasnt cause much if any.so those teri'dal should be slaguter and shall they be for i will kill any teri'dal and if anyone gets in my way i will have no choice but to kill you.so your best advive is to step down for i promise elves show no mercuey,no one will be spare.this is a warning to all teri'dal there shall be a war a war to kill all teri'dal.a war to unite all the elves in peace.a war to rember,a war to rember,a war to rember,a war...

I'm getting good and fed up of travelling to visit my high-elf pals in Felwithe only to see some evil ogre or dark elf necro slaughtering the guards. At lvl 23 ranger, I only have minor heal and mini buffs but I tried to heal one of the guards as he was being attacked by an evil player. (It's called role-playing) I probably only delayed the guards death by 30 seconds. How about the next time guards are being killed by evil, everyone who can heal or buff that's in the Felwithe zone (it's small) run to them and try to save them. I'm not a goody two shoes,(I congratulated the necro on his excellent tactics ) but as a role-player I think it would be cool if we all could get together at least once and do this. Seems like a good bit of role-playing fun to me. If you see guards getting killed, shout for help. Or is that just plain dumb? Feedback please anyone. Thank you.

Let me tell you about an idea i had one day. I was running through Grater faydark and i had accedently attacked a nexus at the wizzy spires. Needless to say that i was killed Instantly. I was extreamly mad because i lost my exp. Through my hatered i studied the creature and i devised the most extravagant scheme ever. I was wondering if my fellow Citizens of norrath would aid me. Darkies and Lighties come together in a mass horde to take one down. "What's in it for me" a person might ask. Well i think that not only the feeling you get from uniting with all of the inhabitants of norrath to squash a common evil but a great possibilty of an uber pay off and Extream exp or maybe nothing just a cold hard defeat.I am not really sure if they drop anything or if they even give exp. They are most likely the least killed Npc in the game. I have heard of one or two being killed but to my knowlage no loot has ever been identified. There are only a couple of reasons why i have not been able to find the loot items either 1. The uber guild who took one down came up with an awsome item that they dont want to get nerfed because of 1000000 crying lowbies saying its too powerfull so they did not add it to new item lists 2. None of them have ever been killed 3. Normal Loot for lvl of mob 4. No loot :( Now i am not really sure yet of the master plan but i am thinking along the lines of a massive head on attack group attack at random with no aperant stratagey.A person could even make a mule char and lvl to 5 or 6 toe just for this battle.Toe to Toe with the Unchecked Evil of the world. Or i have got a more methodical aproach. Either way i could be just stupid or really tired but that is my idea and i am willing to set up shop on any server. e-mail me at massive_nexus_strike@YHAOO.COM if you have any ideas, you want to join (( lvl is of no importance 1-65 doesnt matter Class either warriors clerics shaman monks i am in need of warm bodies :) )) or you just want to flame about how stupid i am either way i will welcome your emails and i will try my very best to email you back .No matter what it says. More information on nexus is always welcome. E-mail me and give it a chance.

Happy hunting and good luck.

Alabran go to the paladins guild in Felwithe, go downstairs and look for a room with two paladins (quest NPCs) one of them is named General Jyeeal the other is female though I can't remeber her name.

In this room there is a dark wall just opposite the door behind a podium/lecturn.. THAT is a secret wall to visit the walkways of Felwithe.

Go ahead and explore

Ah, Felwithe. As soon as you enter, you can feel the pureness of all who dwell within. I can understand why a dark elf would find such pleasure in destroying such tranquility (ooc: and personally, I think a raid like that would be cool too). We have all that you need, so long as you leave the killing outside. Our waters are that wonderful temperature that makes it perfect for swimming and fishing. Anything that you will need in the outside world can very likely be found here. And the people are always kind enough to answer any questions a young traveller may have. So long as you walk in the light, you will always find shelter in Felwithe.

I have a dream . . .
My dream is to see two or three teams of 51+ dark elves blaze through the city of Felwithe, destroying every NPC they find . . .
Seriously, though, the merchants are all level 40, the guild masters are level 50, and the mage guildmaster is level 60; this doesn't seem like such a terribly hard zone to raid, either. You can take the city building by building, I'm sure, and the guards are spaced widely apart.

It would do my little heart good to see high elf corpses strewn all over the streets. Count me in if you're staging it on Drinal.

let me tell you fellow enchantress, i know dark elfs and they were once good but then turned evil, so think about it, those guards are your home guards, that enchanter guildmaster was once YOUR guildmaster, and those merchents were once YOUR merchants so you will regret death to the high elves becuase it would then be the dead dark elfs, pls remember that and there was a dark elf raid in felwithe on vallon zek,

She is apart of the Paladin epic. I beleive you hand in the Fiery Avenger to her, or recieve it from her, something like that. Or, it could be Soulfire or Ghoulbane to get one of the symbols needed to get FA, but dont ask me for details. All i know is she is apart of the Epic quest.

Felwithe can be nice for a few reasons:

* You can raise your fishing and swimming skills unmolested

* Full caster, cleric, & paladin guilds (though caster guilds are in the second Felwithe zone.

* Very close to Wizard spire and Lesser Faydark makes it a good place to stop for supplies.

* its small size makes it ideal to practice trade skills since you don't have to run all over to look for a forge, still, etc.

* If you fall off Felwithe you splash, not splat.

One pointer about the casters guilds. You use a teleporter (similar to Freeport or Erudin) to get to the guilds themselves. You can tell which guild is yours by looking on the symbol on the wall and comparing it to the symbol on the left side of the screen when you aren't in fullscreen mode. You get back by using a different teleporter or swimming. There's no harm in swimming, though.

<nods> Perfectly in line with my sentiments.

However, where once I considered it heresey to even suggest that Kelethin is the more 'desirable' location ('pure casters' have no choice but to visit South Felwithe to obtain spells), as I grow in seasons it is becoming more and more apparent that the -main- feature is:

Location, location and location.

As you start to learn and find your away around the initially bewildering and damn right dangerous Kelethin, you will begin to appreciate just how -damn- annoying it is to have to zone TWICE (if you need to enter South Felwithe) and then zone AGAIN to leave the city.

I can see all those Enchanters who are working on their jewellery trade skill nodding furiously at the back.

Kelethin is set where the vast majority of the newbies will be (near the ruins and near Orc Lift), and the Bank is easily accesible from the POD lift. Once at the top of the lift, walk straight across the bridge in front of you, and turn left up the ramp and the Bank will be on your right hand side.

No more annoying zoning, and having to twiddle ones thumbs whilst 'LOADING. PLEASE WAIT' flashes on your screen.

P.s I have bound myself right -next- to the Kelethin Bank. Perhaps I should have chosen a Gnome Accountant, counting up those beans as my career path <ponders>.

This city is one of the quietest places in Faydwer. Most people who come here, come looking for a quest, a spell, or relaxation, and as such, you won't be disturbed by many shouts or auctions. There are many merchants here, selling all different types of items. The Tavern in Felwithe is one of the only places you can obtain the precicely and excellently brewed bottles of Tunare's Finest. The merchants are as friendly and withdrawn as their people, and their guards almost need not exist.
