Summoned mobs

All firetail and mistwalker mobs appear to be summoned. At least druid Desolate Summoned spell works on them.

So I got curious and floated off the edge by the bridge.... and zoned into East Freeport water (east side of zone). Very similar to Plane of Sky drop.

well this is march now and just read your HELP.. hope you are still with us.. eq rocks.. its just like life..stumble and fall, get hurt, get up learn from this and do something different to learn.. always ask questions in game and someone will help, or you will stumble on the answer yourself..if your on FV do a /shout and sooner or later one of the oldies will take care of you.. if not on FV best way to learn is join a guild or find someone in game to help guide you and be sure and finish the tutorial.. it leads you thru the hard parts.. Tryed to get ring and Circle of Arkstone but merchant would not talk to me. can anyone tell me how to build faction with Arkstone merchants if that is the proplem??

Buy a quill and 3 parchment from a caster supply merchant. Hand the quill and the parchment (unstacked) to Scribe Luritem in Arcstone. He will then interact with you as a merchant.

One of the issues with this zone that I have seen is getting "back doored" by other groups. Your group spends 20 min. clearing trash mobs to get to the named mob (say you cleared the firetales to get to embra) only to have another group pull her from the other side while you are fighting the last trash mobs that surrounded her. Very frustrating. I am assuming this will only be a problem while the expansion is new, but the nature of this zone is named mobs surrounded by trash mobs of the same type, so it might be around for a while.

Both of these mob types fire off a magic-based PBAE that is fairly difficult to resist--- -300 on the water stun, -200 on the tree root.

1) Make sure you've got Guard of Druzzil on your party. That extra 75 MR makes a large difference in the number of resists.
2) Radiant Cure seems to heal the tree-root. Confirmation by a Radiant Cure caster, please?
3) Put your casters a distance away. These PBAEs are fairly short-range, at 80 feet for the waterfolk and 100 feet for the treefolk. There will be a very small sweet spot for the cleric where Complete Heal is just in range while the PBAE is just out of reach--- roughly the distance between the tank and mob, if you're in a straight line.

If you look on the map pack here, you will see an NPC marked in the firling camp near the river. I have yet to see him spawn anywhere?

His name is: Oroshar the Ashcaster

Does anyone know anythign about him?

These PoR maps are well done by the way. But not by me.

Found that out last night.
There was a (LOL) small raid trying to take them out and wiped, not once but twice, depositing him for my group to kill.
I sent in pictures, and what he dropped.

Required lvl for this place?? well anyways i tryed to zone in here and it shut off my EQ and said it could not find Arcstone in my file thingy of some sort and woundeing what i have to do cause i want to try the new zone out if any ideas please post

Yes, I know this is going to sound completely crazy but, you have purchased and installed the PoR expansion haven't you ?

I only say this because more than once I have been in groups where someone doesn't know they needed an expansion and were trying to enter a zone that the rest of the group got into.

Get the task from Lady Usher at Arcstone Zone in area.

U will need to collect Spirit marks.

Relic is also connected here via portal pad. I spent about 5 minutes in relic before I decided it was a bit nasty with all level 70 mobs wandering around and about half of those saw invis. I was alone so I left just after exploring the hall of doorways (gateways) whatever it's called, it has all those blue portal thingies in it.
