Clearly, the Wall of Slaughter was the site of many battles, as evidenced by the large number of ruins in the area. Not many structures were left standing; only the giant wall which divides the site in half.

Best way to find this information is to do an item search for the rune you are looking to get. You can also search for shadowspine runes as they achieve the same goal. Off the top of my head:

Bazu Bonesmasher
Kyv Assasin
Girplan Master Crafter
Ukun Tendon Slicer
Shadow Hunter
Noc Bonecleaver
Feran Bloodkeeper
Chimera Seether

I am sure there are more but these do for sure. Shadow Hunter is a raid mob of old. He is still quite lethal to a small group. You have been warned.

They do not always drop a rune. Sometimes they drop a special piece of loot. Sometimes they drop nothing at all. The 'named' mobs usually have the same model as the non named versions. They are several levels higher though. A level 65 tracker is great to have. All mobs will con dark blue to them except the named mobs which will be white or higher. (This of course, is not perfect but easy enough to figure out.)

As an option these spells can now be researched. Sometimes you can buy the spell in the baz for less than you can buy the runes....just a thought.

I am thinking of duo'ing here with my 75 zerker and 72 shaman I am curious if this zone has OK AA exp for the zerker and decent normal exp for my shaman. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i just tried to walk a toon up there lvl 46 paladin well kept giving me some wierd message when i tried port (you are not experienced enough to travel thru a inter-dimensional portal?

yes they changed it use to be any lvl i have a 47 ranger with the blue flame neck the random rare drop but now i cant get him or my other lower lvl toons in

My BERSEKER level 49 cant zone in too.

I supose is level 51 required, i will confirm it soon.

Pretty sure WoS is Lv-51 like PoN and other early PoP Zones.
MPG is 65, RSS is 69.

Don't bother with the walk. Much easier just to snag a gate stone from vendor in Guild Hall, saves lots of time for only 200ish pp. If you can't afford that by time you start going to WoS, you need to rethink you financial situation.

There is a mob missing from the list for WoS. The name is "Dark Disciple". He hit for 1k max. Cons blue to L70 and red to L56.

He is a mob for the cleric epic 2.0. He spawns from the corpse of any random trash mob when killed by a cleric flagged for this part of the quest (the cleric receives an emote upon zoning into WoS).

He has been known to spawn as a number of different models and both male and female. He was a male halfer for us. I have a screeny of ours and I'll post it later.

EDIT: Dropped "Dark Red Robe" which is already listed on Alla.

Quick question...what's the min level to get into this zone? Saw that it's rated level 60-70, but from past exp, I know you can usually get a lower level character in.

My friend has gotten his level 51 in. Just don't try to run for safety in MPG because there's a required level of 65 there.

Run it at light speed, or Invised...theirs no other way to avoid death. All the mobs there run at sow speed, so be aware..

The biggest dangers so far is groups that run through the entrance tunnel without invis. 2 chimera pounce and the train begins. Of course someone always brings Shadowhunter to the zoneline to devour everyone there. Invis or not.

They are easy to kill but hard to pull unless you have FD/Harmo/Pacify, even with this expect one add.

They are in the ruins in groups of 3-4, pulling one will get you adds. I have seen as much as 3 comming on the same pull, from a camp on the East wall. You might get unlucky and get some of the roamers adding too.

My recomedation: PULL ROAMERS 1ST!! Only if you can not get a roamer pull, then very carefully pull the dragorns. Since most people pull the roamers, named roamers show a lot. I must have seen like 1 every 20-30 minutes, once up to 4 named up at the same time.

This is becoming the new BOT, camped 24/7 by loads of people, some not very skilled. So be careful. Ah trains to the zone line are very common and usually unanounced.

From the PoD port, invis, go north into the castle, all straight, zone. Then follow road to next caste, before zoning INVIS UP or die.

I have yet to find one that doesnt, possibly the Murkgliders in some of the caves, but if what you're looking for is kite-able mobs, thats not gonna do either

Sure, you can one group the trash mobs in the tunnels leading from Noble's. But once you get outside, several named mobs wander around the wide open area among the trash mobs. Be cautious of dealing with the named mobs. They have a lot of hps and deal out a lot of damage with melee and procs. They will wipeout a group with ease. Why I suspect they are raid mobs.

Other thing I noticed,the trash mobs move very fast when aggroed. They come at you with close to bard speed. No running from these on a bad pull. Pacify and harmony does work thou, so should help with pulling the trash. They mitigate slow, but not a lot of hit points. Can be mezzed too, at least all the ones I had to.

From Dranik's Scar, head north to Noble's Causeway, then north to reach the Wall of Slaughter. I can't speak for always, but not many were killing on the path, and nothing saw invis for me the entire run up from Dranik's to Wall.
