The zone was broke for a long while, the palm tree that was behind the ALL seeing eye in the garden would not let you click on it to take you to the UD wing for a long while. Now they added a vase with a plant in it where the palm tree once was and it works, takes you to the UD wing. As far as the post below about a hedge gardnerer, he is a PH for a named, why this mob's name is misspelled is beyond me.

either i suck with pom navigation or this zone is totally broken, spent 2 days now looking for a way out of the garden, the spots posted on the map had nothing to click, spent a few hours just running around clicking everything in the garden...

ended up gating out and running back today =|

running back now to try the other wings if i can get into them.


or am i missing something? the clicky should have been behind the all-seeing eye.

Can't click behind the eye either. Came back for old time sake to get the dagger for my rog and am stuck in the garden.

I have this map posted under the all seeing eye for the epic quest, but I see two clickies marked on it for the garden exit. I've always had a caster there so I've never clicked out of the garden.

I realize it's been about 6 months since your post, but maybe this will help the next guy.

thanks for the reply!!! the problem i was having was not navigation, it was the click ups not working in the garden, i tried all of them and they gave no message, didnt even say anything about not being in range when i tried to click from far away =\

not sure if its fixed now though!

Still no way out of the garden, nor any way into the upside-down area, since the ports are busted. I came back after 8 years and a few extra levels to hurt the all seeing eye just because I could, and couldn't get back out again. Sigh.

The zone in is in The Great Divide. Go south from zone in from PoK, the stream flows into a cave and click on the small castle in the cave.
Exits and Entrances

According to my map and my personal experiance, the north wing exit leads to Western Wastes now. I cannot personally vouch for the other two exits, but am almost 100% certain they all go to WW;my map also says the same thing. If someone knows different,please share your insight with us. Smiley: nod Otherwise I believe the information about the zones being connected is no longer correct and should be updated.

If you're looking at the map currently included in Mapfiend's packs, the "WW" labels in the rooms just west of the Entry room refer to the three teleport destinations among those rooms (i.e. West Wing 1, West Wing 2, etc).

I am unaware of any zone-out directly to Western Wastes; however if you know of one I would greatly appreciate knowing the specific location so I may update my map.

Incidentally, there is an error on that map regarding the exit teleport at the far (east) end of the Alice wing. It is labeled "to Entry", but in actuality goes to the Doors Room. Sorry about that, heh. :)

Pom is a lot of fun and it's an old breath of fresh air from all the typical zones.


I have had to oppurtunities to tour the castle and unless your with one or 2 80's it will be a short trip at lvl 55

the forrest is a perfect place for kiting at 55. all the mobs are dark blue and white and they snare and slow with little difficulty.

my spell lineup is as follows

instill
imprecation
envenomed bolt
splurt
cascading darkness
dark rune
comatose
ignite blood (id use scent of terris here untill you get a good feel for the mobs)
Plague

pet not taunting.


find a pull, cast your root then lay down the slow untill it sticks, if the root fails sick your pet to stop him for one more try. If it still dosnt stick they will be hitting you, hard. if you cant land it by 30 - 40 percent fiegn and try again.

once you got one slowed cast all your dots till they stick while kiting him around the nice grassy zone in. recast slow 2 or 3 times when the mobs below 20 theyll start to run, then chop away with your favorite melee device, rinse and repeat.

the named bixie in here dont bother with, it summons and it hurts alot worse then the rest of them.

save the mushroom spores, use them for the chest quest when you have a friend or 2. if your looking to get above journeyman in tailoring or smithing, the save your ores and silks, natural and flawed, rubicite and better drops here on occasion as well as a rare double gem drop every 40 mobs maybe?

Happy hunting, everything in this zone works, and i dont know for sure if this is the original zone or not due to the chatter down there, but this zone is a lot of fun all around and well worth exploring with a semi powerful group.

So untill i catch an uber that needs a guide to bristlebane, ill be kiting for aa's here finally happy that this junk geared necro can drop a few whites : )

Is the entrance to PoM from GD broke or is there a level requirement for PoM. I tried to use the "doll house" and kept getting message "This zone is not ready to receive visitor yet. Please try again in a few moments." I was attempting to get to Cobalt using PoM as a way station. I'm only level 44 necro.

I was looking for some place other that the NEW Hot Zones (which really aren't unless you have a full group). Some one suggested I head this way and after killing 20 various mushroom men, bee's and skunks I had almost a blue bar of experience, about 6 gold and not a single thing dropped to loot for my time.

Which explains why no one ever came in while I was there,

No wonder World of Warcraft is so popluar now.....guess I need to go buy it for myself too.

I visited this zone for the first time in years yesterday. I would like to personally kick the developers in the nuts for messing up this zone beyond belief. There was no need to convert this to a regular exp zone as there already more than enough zones in this range. It was a novelty zone, part of the game's lore and should have stayed that way. There should be no epic mobs located in PoM. The old quests that use to exist are completely ******* The entrance should only be located in ToV, not in some low level zone like GD. I could go on but it would do no good. It's a real shame.

Heys ... As batteling to the theatre, we now caught 3 times with an experience, that is extreme suspect to us:

Normally any kinda NPC we fight in there has no escape-reaction when reaching 20 % health and less. Starting with the room in front the theatre (the one with the witty sphinx in it) ANY time we tried an income on first theatre room, the NPC we fought (till now always an other) started to run (not really, because he had been snared, but anyway) away after the root broke. And that with max. 10 % damage!!!! He just turned around and wandered into the theatre. That logically forced us on and on to an emergency gate (expecting the train he was fetching this way).

Has anyone else made that su%%ing experience??? Is that a "nice" surprise from verant, or just a really crappy pathing bug?

The only thing we still can try is trying to hold up an permaroot, but if it fails once, we sure are back on the way to our binding point.

Any experience sharing would be great!

When you zone in from Great Divide, walk forward towards bixie. The tree to click on to get to Cobalt Scar is at -1004, -329. You will land underwater in the middle of the sea.

If you run south along the river in the great Divide you will find a 'dolls' house in the water. Click on the dolls house and you zone into the PoM. carefully walk forward clicking on all trees that are next to or in front of you to zone into Cobalt scar. I you get near the bixie you are too far forward. I have done this and it works. Be safe and help all who are failing:))' it might be you one day that needs help.

You can figure out which tree to click on to get to Cobalt Scar from the zone in. Just click on the tree and when you get a message saying something like "You cannot reach this", that is the teleport-tree.

Anyone know how one gets from CS to PoM or is there a one-way ticket to CS *from* PoM (I've never found the blasted tree people talk about as a zout).

I was only able to find the zin from GD...

a little late, but it is one-way, from pom to cs.
From zone in, look to the trees. Spam click around til you see the "too far to reach" message, and home in on that.

Im here on the mac server, and I believe we have the original version of PoM, with the only entrance being in NToV. Ive managed to do the Double-DA run to get myself inside, and am now bound there, but I am struggling to find much info on this zone before all the changes were made. I have visited www.planeofmischief.com and this has helped some, but Im curious if there is anywhere else to find good information on the mobs, items, ect, of the old version of PoM. Thanks!

This zone has been revamped yet again with the DoD expansion. Fluvarian bandits are in the forest, no more bees, skunks and shrooms. They all conned indifferent to me. There are new MOBs in the castle too. I was able to walk right thru to the theatre area without invis cause everything was indifferent. Will get some screenshots for ya.

there is an exit.. there's a tree u click. i had every mob in the forest on me while running back and forth clicking every tree i saw and crapped my pants once or twice but i found it = ) it's near the fake bridge. if u run straight after zoning into Mis, run towards fake bridege then right before leaving the trees make a sharp left and click like crazy. when You are too far away, get closer appears then u've found the right tree. hopefully u'll live until u get to it.

Since I did not find this anywhere else, I'll post /loc of invis ramp (vis one is fake).
From moat edge looking at caste wall, find -623, 29 (left a lil ways from fake bridge) and run straight at castle wall to -500, 22. Voila! You are on the castle wall.

There is another invisible bridge at the exact mirror of the loc that was posted here. (little ways past the visable fake bridge) the right side) I use the right hand side because the named bee see thru invis and most times I am just interested in Alice in Wonderland area or trapsizing throu the castle.
