| It is within Veeshan's Peak that the Lords of Scale hold their court. The oldest living creatures within Norrath, the Lords of Scale were deposited by the Wurm goddess Veeshan at the birth of the world.
It is from within Veeshan's Peak that Trakanon, at the time a mighty blue dragon, led his forces to meet the Iksar armies above the field of bone. Trakanon's victory was complete, decimating the upstart Iksar armies and razing many of their cities. Trakanon himself retired to the Ruins of Sebilis to keep watch and revel in his victory. Level 55 is required to enter the zone without a key on the live servers. Everyone can enter the zone with a key. |

She lies at the top of the POA, the placeholder is needed the eye. This is no joke. I was able through all of my spells to make it to the top. It seems that you can now combine spells to make new effects. Good luck

Also, if you guys were to pay attention a bit, the opening sequence says it is a legend, and that does not mean it is true. and who say's norrath didnt grow after she departed her life onto it huh? for all you guys know veeshawn could be 3inches tall! SO BAH TO ALL OF YOU!

Me and 2 groups of 6 went to this zone and right when we got in 4 guardian wurms stood there. we werent killed at first we got rdy to take them maybe it was 3 not sure well I cast some spell and all 4 attacked me i was first to die 400+ dmg kills a skinny necro well it they slaugtered our group in a matter of minutes i suggest not going here unless you have 9 to 10 groups of 54th+ people with you you will get a mighty *** whiping

There are some places I expect that dragons round people up and AE the living daylights out of them. Some Rogue went there and estimated that the guardian wurms where each as hard as Naggy. Nope. They combine the best points of Naggy AND Vox. It's like taking 3 gods at once (there are 3 Guardian Wurms).

There is a ghost (Emporer something, and in Skyfire I think) that tells you about the Iksar sects, and that before they fell they each had a medallion. You have to go and get each medallion (through fairly long Iksar quests) and THEN kill Trakanon. Returning proof of Trakanon's death and all 3 medallions gets you the Key to Veeshan's Peak...and the Eye of Veeshan has been spotted and conned by multiple castings of Bind Sight, he was green to a lvl 49...which makes me think he's a placeholder...but that brings up the disturbing question, what is that spots other spawn? *suspenseful music* maybe we'll never know...

There are 8 named dragons i believe. ONe named Xygoz and another with a name that rhymes with that. There was a GM/Guide that went in there and got all the pics ya see on the Web. The door is opened by a HUGE quest. It takes a 3-piece medallion whose 3 pieces take 6 steps each. Well thats what the posts from the Gm/guide guy said. Oh well back to power lvling.

I have heard that while this may be the hardest zone in the game, it does not in fact contain the single hardest creature in the game. I hear that Trakanon is in fact the hardest creature in the game, supposedly he resides in Old Sebilis. I have also heard tell that he is a lvl 65 undead necro dragon with a aoe dot that does an ungodly amount of damage. :( Also heard that he must be killed to enter Veeshans Peak. Yeah iv heard alot of rumors, hehe :) I hear that there are at least 6 named dragons in Veeshans Peak, some guarding warp gates, the only way to leave the zone. Each gate would take you to a different part of the world, one even going to the very top of the Plane of Sky. yikes. Also, although Veeshan herself could not be in the game, i hear a guardian in the PoS is Veeshan's Eye. Remember this is all just rumor i heard, so don't quote me. :)

It is believed that Veeshan resides in POS. Just read the game manual and it tells you that Veeshan is the ruler of hte plane of sky. There is a mob in POS that is called "Eye of Veeshan" as well but noone's managed to reach him yet, they've only found him thru bind sight. I believe the ruler (or one of hte main dragons) in Veeshan's Peak is named Druuhsk. I saw some screenshot taken from some GMs that were exploring the zone of him hitting for 645 dmg. I am completely not looking forward to that.

This place is the epitomy of Hell. Stronger than all the zones, you need to do a quest to even be allowed to zone in...after that expect to go to your bind point many a time! 50+, even then expect to die.

Veeshan's peak is supposedly THE hardest area in the game, bar none. This is not the home of Veeshan (which is what many think) as she is larger than Norrath, but rather home to many many dragons. Gate/Evac spells or potions will not work in this zone, and the only way out of the zone is by victory over dragonkind. Raises are possible back INTO the zone however.
