Kurn's Tower

hey does anyone know if the wand still drops on the xez server? i have camed in here for atleast a week and killed everything in my sight ! must have killed 2000 mobs by now and stil no wand

Soloist's Icy wand can drop off almost every mob in kurns, but it is extremly rare, you have a better chance at getting the IBC, but then again the first mob you kill have it.

Tonight I had a thought. Ok i I was wanting to reasemble a skull rom someone I would want all the items that go into a skull. <<ie canpoics (eyes) togue, and the last item I believe to be the note rom the jester>> I have not trested this theory as I do not have the note or the second eye, but I shall repost ater I try them. If there is another item pertaining to a skull that might work in place o the note please tell me. THanks

Has anyone found a non-cracked femur? Tried to use a cracked one for the 4th necro quest with no luck (could not combine bs).

Anyhow, I've killed dozens and dozens of gtrs in kurn and FOB to no avail! Any info greatly appreciated!

I have been in kurns since lv 12 and have found some great spots, monks do awesome here but other classes can do so also with some risk, fd is awesome. Head to the jester room and fall down you land and do about 80dmg but are in the 2nd floor. There is water across from you and swim across the 5ft little river and start killing there. All burnyai that run will hit that water and stop. They won't swim or run and get friends. It's like having snare and works wonders. although do watch out for high level in the zones. same as the previous poster when they enter suddenly you see more burynai with dmg shields and a ton of harm touches.

Also where are the mobs that are higher then lv 18? i have been there forever from the 4th floor to the basement looking for the named in the catacombs. i have yet to see anyhting since lv 19 that is not green or blue.

Just killed a thick boned skel and looted thick iksar skull,any idea on the loot?

If you use a Burynai Digmaster Claws like I do, then DO NOT I repeat DO NOT USE IT ON A BURYNAI SAPPER. EACH TIME YOU HIT HIM IT ABSORBS THE DAMAGE!

I have camped kurns for 3 months for the club and basically know that place from top to bottom. I can even tell you how u know if you got a rare item coming off the mob. OK a fingerbone weapon ALWAYS has a fine steel Warhammer UNLESS he is gonna drop a buryani hide or ruined scale armor peice. Normally they drop shoulders and ruined scale skirts. The fingerbones have the same deal except it is FS Scimitar. Also drop buryani hide mantle but tend to also drop ruined scale mantle. Lessor icebones in the jesters stall area tend to drop the RARE buryani hide boots and also ruined scale mantles and skirts. Also pulled a helm off a greater scalebone, ruined scale. I am a high lvl iksar warrior so i camp the bottom for club, but i know that the buryani hide wrists drop off of scalebones. The lowestlvl ones. I assume that the rare or better pieces drop off higher lvl mobs. I know butyani hide leggins drop off of excavators and have dropped off skeles. My best bet to get GREAT gear is to camp the 2 jester hallways. The boots, shoulders, berzerker club, the forager pops there, and its the site where i pulled 2 ice wands off mobs. I got 3500 for each wand and i was in a grp where a 3rd one was looted and lotoed. I have looted 2 boots, all kinds of shoulders and face buryani hide gear, and muitliple shaman quests. One tip for fast money is to camp the bottom all night and loot the fs weapons. Take muilitple backs. I pulled 300 loot bag one night just from the FS weapons. Very nice dungeon for loot wise conserding its easy lvls. WARNING: if a high lvl in the zone and u get multiple, the mobs DO get harder. I got HTed 7 times in a row. Did over 1400 damage in less then 5 mins. I had a clerics buffs on. I even got a skele who conned blue to a 29 war at the time. So if higher lvls in the zone the mobs get really hard and tend to harmtouch like crazy. If you need to med sit in the middle of the jesters hallway. Nothing pops but excavators, occansional sappers, and they normally won't attakc if above 24. Lots of info, for 3 months of camping. BTW the jester is bugged, on my server, and spawns in the wall killing himself. I talked to multiple Gms and they will not do anythig till the next patch. So if u keep hearing a skele die by the place he spawns, well thats him popping in the wall. And theres no sense camping him cause its been doing that for 3 weeks on my server and he hasn't popped since. One GM, head GM on my server, told me that they could not even find the jesters name in the mob's list. Leading me to believe he may have been deleted due to the club. Thats all the info on kurns tower i know. Hope you like it cause it took me 10 mins to type. :) enjoy - necros best spot cause of bones :)

There is at least 2 respawn times in Kurn's. Found that out while waiting for both the fingerbone skeleton and Barglynn. Most of the mobs are on a 20 min or so spawn table, but it seems that the wandering fingerbone in the stables is on a 40 min spawn table, as well as some mobs on the lowest floor (Caves with Burynais). Of the 3 spots around Barglynn's pond, only one (a common) spawn point is on a 20 min spawn time. The other 2 are on a 40 min spawn point.

FYI the fingered and the thickbone; they drop fs scimitars and hammers. If you ever see one without said weapon, it means that it has another drop. The fingered drops the burynai hide mask and the thickbone drops the shoulderpads.
