| The Trolls of Grobb once lived in harmony. That all changed in February of 2003 when the Frogloks took over the city, renaming it "Gukta, Outpost of Marr."
Following a long, drawn out war, the Trolls regained control of Grobb in August 2005, forcing the Frogloks into the Mountains of Rathe. |

There's another froggy near alchemy merchants called a prisoner, who is once again returned for the Forager Bag quest from oggok shaman guild. Think he's on Shamen of War faction, as conned dubiosly.
Fought him with me 13 troll SK, but the guards help him. Conned yellow.

Bleh, anyway, all the frogs are gone! Prisons now have a froglok prisoners, while all the old trolls are back! Weird part is, that I couldnt find that funky ol' skeleton.
Also, the troll guards now look like regular trolls wearing plate armor, instead of the old Basher models.

There are a bunch of buttons around Gukta, but I haven't figured out what they're for, except to delight little ole me. Anyone know? For example, the sheild laying on the ground near the Armor merchants...push it... and you get the sound of something opening/closing. Any idea?

anyone know how tough these frogs are? typical for 50-60 lvl quest mobs or insanely pumped up?

drops: Sharptooth Caribe, tradeskill, no drop, and a snack
respawn seems to be quite long, 45min -> 1 hour and the caribe is a rare drop. Enjoy the fresh fish!

Bah, wrote the full quest just find the quest listed else where from early 2003. And the mob still isn't listed here.

He wants a page that was lost "out on the battle front in the swamp". I have tried a couple of different "no drop, no rent, magic, lore" Worn Battle Parchements. The an is always, "I have no need for this item.
However!!! All you need to do is Hail him with it in your possession... and you get the next quest.

Anyone have any info on the shmmy versoin of the newbie quest? It's really annoying me.
Anybody know what type of weapon/sword the guards drop? Just curoious as none of the guards show any loot. Im sure there just junk, but still.

Looking for information on Rukta Karuup. I am doing the newbie quests and got to him and he asked for a document with information on the war or something like this. I tried several documents I found in the swamp but nothing worked so far. Can anyone please tell me what writtings are needed and where they drop/spawn? Thanks for any help with this.

I'm doing the main Gukta quest (the one where you run around delivering items and drops to merchants and elders) and i'm a paladin froggie.
I get to the point where i see Lokta Elder Froops and he tells me to find someone who has betrayed the froggies and is subjigating the frogs who don't follow his ways. He tells me that i need his tongue. I have been looking EVERYWHERE killing froglok exiles, named frogloks, undead frogloks, everything. and not a tongue. any help?

Ive seen this mob for a while now thats not on the list. By animal trainer Visop( or somthing like that) there is a Captured Spiderling. Coned red at 1 and red at 36.

im on the quest before u get the soul stone. the one where u hail grikk in the bar. well im at the end and im supposed to kill a traitor out in the swamp anyone know who im supposed to kill?

They (verant) could have made this more realistic. They could have had anyone who wants to be an invader be one, and the NPCs and PCs would invade grobb, and there might have had to been more than one mission, not /move zone_population = neriaka. Really! That would have been much cooler! The trolls would be annilated in the end... because Mortals cannot win against a deity, at least NPC mortals! Clerics to heal frogs / shamans to heal trolls and warriors up front troll Sks fighting / nuking froglok warriors / pallies fighting (pallies also healing) and froglok Wizzies nuking. Troll Beastlords have pets going frontline while healing pets / buffing / nuking! Wouldn't that have been cool?
They actually had a GM event on all servers for the invasion... frogloks were spawning in the swamp and rushing the trolls, then the trolls came out en masse to break the tide of froggies, only to get pushed back. Inside the city, the frogs went on a rampage, killing trolls galore. Anyone KoS to Guk was KoS to these frogs, as well. Some people were trying to solo guards/frogs and ended up getting smoked.

This frog is at loc 96,50 near soulbinder. He spawns with either eggs or mushrooms. I have never seen the mushrooms on him, but he has always spawned with 10 eggs. His cycle time is approx 30 minutes from the time he leaves when you buy the eggs/mushrooms? Great for Baking recipes if ye need eggs fast!

I GOT MY *** HANDED TO ME ROYALY! THEY ARE NOT LVL 1!!

I am not sure what the spore you have to turn in is, but I do know how to do it. I spent hours with every type of fungus you can find in Innothule swamp (almost 10 types) trying to hand them in to the baker. No results. Just "You can have this item Sweetapple. I don't need it"
Finally I just hailed him by mistake one day and he took his fungus and told me how to further my quest.
A bad step by VI to change the way things are done for quests (especially when it works fine the old way)
