| The Trolls of Grobb once lived in harmony. That all changed in February of 2003 when the Frogloks took over the city, renaming it "Gukta, Outpost of Marr."
Following a long, drawn out war, the Trolls regained control of Grobb in August 2005, forcing the Frogloks into the Mountains of Rathe. |

When is the Gukta Beastiary going to change from trolls to frogs? LoY has been out for a week and they (Allakhazam) still hasn't updated the zone.

Well at least trolls dont have to worry about going into a resturante and finding someone muching on a big plate of fried trolls legs.

I'm sure many of my Trollish Brothers and Sisters have thought about getting revenge on the Frogs who have stolen our fair city.
All I can say is don't bother. I couldn't land anything on the new Frog NPCs, even the green con ones.

This is no longer the trolls city, Was invaded by a large amount of frogloks,and this is no longer called grobb, its now called Gukta, Outpost Of Marr, or somethin like that, Guk as well now has many new mobs.

Anyone got the info on the soulbinder? It'l be nice if it would be out in the open, but nOOOOO, Verant has to use military intelligence to place mobs anymore... oh wait, there is no such thing as military intelligence.
Actually the new soulbinder is very easy to get too, as you zone in and pass where Priest of Discord used to be, the Soulbinder is to the left side in a little alcove

The Soulbinder is fairly eay to find if you know your way around town. On your way to the bank there is a large circle of NPCs surrounder Carver on a block where he obviously tortures prisoners. In this circle of NPCs is your Soulbinder. If you still can not find him, check out EQAtlas.com and use a map. Safe travels to you and I hope you found him by now.

I was wandering around in here with my lvl 1 Shammy, and i noticed an NPC near the shammy guild. It looked like a noobie human, but it was about as tall as a gnome, and it had a Huge ring of hair that didnt fit its head, (lookied like a clipping problem). His name was !Gluku. Yup, you read correctly, he had an exclamation point in front of his name, and get this, He conned Dark Blue to me at lvl 1. Does this mean he is below lvl 1??? Odd... well, i decided to kill him because he wouldnt talk to me, and lemme tell you, he regens really fast, but i took him out easily enough. When he died, he said "My comrads will avenge my death" and there wasn't a thing on him... Very Peculiar. If anyoen has any info aboutthis guy, post it up, im very curious. By the way, I took a Screenshot of him, if anyone wants to look at it, Post that up too.

I've NPC's like that before too, they are broken, I remember one in Unrest a long time ago !dusty werebat, or something like thAT. looked like a little human.

I found a similar NPC in EC tunnels one day. His name was !Ground, and he coned blue to a newly created lvl 1 alt. I couldn't kill him with my alt because of his sick regen, but he didn't attack back at all, and never moved from his spot. I logged on my main, and killed him. No faction hits, and no loot. Looked like a normal sized human. Odd huh.

Gargh is a Beastlord, and gives out quests to the Troll Beastlords. The faction standing for Troll Beastlords would have to be raised, I imagine, if you're KOS to him.
Ogre Beastlords, BEWARE! You are KOS to Gargh! Use the soulbinder with EXTREME caution.

Not just Ogre beastlords ... I'm a warrior and have been running all over Grobb with no problems... until I spawned back at the soulbinder and got killed by Gargh about 25 times *sigh* and had one run in with Jokca as well ... there doesn't seem to be much information on raising faction with them (that a low lvl can do). If anyone has an idea - please let me know :)

Don't know why. 2 days ago bought gems in grobb and got bound there. Today, I died, popped, got killed, popped, got killed, popped, finally escaped to swamp. Don't know what happened to faction, Grobb has been a second home to me. Only quest I completed was with Centaurs in SK. Any connection? I also killed Dark Deathsinger on way by, but would expect medal for that, not death.

Not sher if dis de wun yuz tawkin bowt but a Trollie by de name ov Gargh kilt mez 2 timez in Grobb. Mez wint tu de bank an on way bak himz kom runnin owta de tunnel tu de jeweler an bashed mez. Mez iz a Oga Beastlord...mez mate, a Oga Shadowknight wuz fine...himz ignored her. Mez tink himz new...not noze nuttin bowt himz.

can someone please tell me something about this Gargh dude....he has killed me 4 times and i can't even get my body to run the heck out of there....i've traveled thru there a few times before and had NO problem.............HELP

My ogress shaman appears to be KoS to Gargh, as well. This is NOT a good thing, since he stands right next to the herb vendor.
I'm investigating the problem with my server GM and the testing department, to try to find out what's going on and if there's any solution forthcoming. Hopefully it will be resolved in the near future!

There's some bad *** ****** Troll in there that Ogres are KOS to. I went into Grobb to make some Pots and the ******* killed me twice so far. Never seen him before ever. I'm 37 and he smooshed me all over the place.

This zone is full of safe spots tell Bohh on Vallon and for a small penny il show it.
The exp is "crushing from 44 to 52" myself i gained those lvl here.
