| Castle Mistmoore is home base for the vampire followers of Mayong Mistmoore. With only one zone-in/out, it's not uncommon to see some massive trains here.
Interestingly enough, it is possible to make yourself non-KOS to the castle's residents through faction work, (in doing so, however, you'll make enemies out of the League of Antonican Bards and Ring of Scale). Note: For the higher level revamp version of this zone (available only in special events - usually branded as "Hardcore Heritage", running several weeks in the spring and/or summer), click here. |

I am wondering if This guy Spawns any more? i been there a few times for this BP-Chestplate of the dark flame. i cleared the spawn a many times clicked that gem, killed them at night and in the day, this was my thrid attemp.. I know theres better BP's out there but i've wanted this One since i was a nOObie. any information would be cool, even if its just " ya i seen that name on radar" and if you've killed him even better tell me where and how..

I camped him for 2days and got 3pikes and the BP about 2months ago. So yes, he does still spawn and he does still drop the BP. If i am remembering correctly he pops right above the white sacrificing circles painted on the floor - assuming they are for sacrifices - in the tower. Hope that helps any.

I believe he is the rare spawn in the tower. I was in there some time back looking for some help getting the Butler and a few high lvl's came in and pulled the Black Dire. He joined the fight, but I don't know why. According to another area I read he is in the tower and should not have aggro'd the lvl 55 rogue that ran to the gorge and brought the Dire back for the Shaman. I helped kill both mobs and was rewarded the Pike from them. Pretty much a piece of junk though. I was glad I could help them. Anyway, look to the tower!

About a month ago while i was playing in MM which i like to do being a pally and all someone trained it to zone so when the guy who pulled it zoned in we helped him kill him dropped the glowing iron pike at that time not the BP but he was up for a little while at least seems to be a rare spawn though been in there quite often and its the first time i had seen it =) good luck to ya.

I was poking around MM today and tracked something called Dark Huntress (note there was no "A" at the front of the name) It cond green to 56.
It vanished from track seconds later and no one in the zone claimed to know anything about it.
Anyone have any info?

I am a lvl 27 druid on vaz trying to find a goo dcamp for some cash as I am used to a necro and killing that sister on sister isle that drops the 11pp long sword well enough of my rambles but if you know of a good camp here or anywhere for that matter a lvl 27 druid could grp or solo plz tell me

what is ssynthi? i saw it with my group, and we killed the dum book to realize it didnt give very nice faction, and it gave some advisor robe or whatever, turns out to be worth crap... and also, for the first time in 30 levels, i won a roll!! heh too bad it is for the dum robe... can someone tell me what the heck that book is there for... had a quick spawning rate too, was btm at 30
Ssynthi is a rogue Shadow Man working with the Temple of Solusek Ro. If you give him the flower from inside the tomb he's behind, he'll give you a wand that can be used in a Wizard quest. Killing him lowers faction with the Temple and is thus generally not a good idea.

SSynthi is an outcast shadowmen I believe, and it does give an awful robe, not an advisor robe though. Some mage robe I think. Don't know what the book is for though.

I am currently a bored lvl 22 rogue who hates ill omen could i come and hunt here?
This zone is pretty good xp at 30. I had a 31 WAR, 26 DRU, 27 PAL, 25 CLR, and 28 RNG, as well as myself, a 30 PAL. We pulled greens and low blues nonstop from near the ramp, I got 1 and a half blues in about half an hour. Not bad for a hell level. :)

I started a high elf just to be a smith and I plan on having him level up from 31-45 or so in mistmoore just to get these essences and for cash for fine plate.. I play on nameless his name is petey.. save for me i'll buy em from ya sooner or later.. I hope to have 60-100 of these by the time my smithing is maxed out on fine plate

i think theyre around lvl 37 im not sure tho conned blue at 51, green at 52

I saw a pack of 4 Blood Wolves the other day in the Canyon area where Enynti spawns (#4 on map). Our group was about to enter the castle when one of us looked down at the canyon when we saw them. We had a lvl 38 with us and they conned even to him.

*a fallen noble* missing from list, drops Noble's Robes 6AC. Cha6, SV fire/cold 6, SV magic/disease/poison 3, looks like FBR just blue not black... he's a cleric.

Um, you could if you want to die! Stay in Lake til 24 and then go to Mistmore and get in a group and camp the entrance.
I really wouldn't go here til level 30ish. I need to get stuff for Ro armor here but am waiting til I get out of this hell level before I go.

Okay, a word to my dark brothers...God damned its lightie hell in there! If your lucky enough to keep the creatures from mobbing on you, its those damn elves and pecks that are on you! If you are headed there, go strong, go smart, and take a few groups with you. This is our world, we cannot be stopped from our goals!

No need to go to Mistmoore for gargoyle eyes. The gargoyles in Ocean of Tears drop them, and are only around lvl 15. They are on spectre Island, but are easy to kill without disturbing the spectres. just stay on the edges of the island.

All gargs drops eyes, but they are more rare on the lower lvl ones.

Is this place too low a level for a level 29 druid to group, i hate kiting,a nd besides, you can make a lot of cash here, and levels up above seem to be in the low thirties

It's a great place to hunt near 30s if you can find a group. Most of the antonica/faydwer zones gave way to the more popular kunark zones, making it difficult to group there. Give it a try if you like, although i might suggest grouping in frontier mountains or dalnir in kunark for quicker grouping.

Look, here's the lowdown on getting in and out of Mistmoore invis and being ok about it... Yes things here see invis. Yes it's because they're undead. And, yes, there is a way to avoid them? Simpler than breathing, my friends. They be vampires. They spawn at night, and despawn at dawn... You want to check the place out invis, do it during daylight hours... oh, and bring along an evac in case invis wears off while you're trying on Mynthi Davissi's underwear... it's always bad to be caught with your pants down. ^_^

Try thinking, first. He didn't say he LOOTED five, he said five DROPPED. (Although why he was camping the thing after getting the cloak is beyond me)
As for the week thing... not uncommon for those random spawns. Ever heard of the Undead Jester?

He also said the 5 he killed were not consecutive. Which probably means he got one, sold or item transferred it to another character, then came back. repeat.
Heh. As a matter of fact, I have heard of him... 35 hours all alone in a forgotten all-green dungeon far away... Thanks for reminding me ;-)

He despawns after 30min or so not hrs.... mobs there are on day/night spawn and he spawns and despawns as the other mobs do... Respawn time is random, saw him killed 2ce in 4hrs so can't be 8+. He does have a PH too, something will spawn in his place and despawn later for something else or he will spawn, don't have to kill the PH to get him.

I just got here, soloed one thing, a whole blue bub at 25! i just pull to zone, with mage pet. killed 3 more things with a partner, about 2 more blue bubs. great to solo, fight when u just walk in, if you are my level. its hard to pull only one thing, but if i zone in time its no big deal. i wish pets could zone already tho... but i cant wait till i have a few hours here... PS. what can i kill in Gfay to just get faction with gaurds and merchants, and not be KOS?

In GFay? Kill orcs. Lots and lots of orcs. This is not reccomended for Dark Elves, though, since the orcs carry a negative faction hit to the Indigo Brotherhood.

I am a lvl 17 Paladin currently hunting in Unrest. I was wondering what to do at lvl 20: My bro is going to Lake Rathe or South Karana to hunt Aviaks. Should I go with him, hunt Unrest some more, or come to Mistmoore? I f I go to Mistmoore what MoBs should I try to kill? Solo or group? If anyone has any input, please say some thing, please?

Everything in here is on a twenty-five or twenty-eight minute spawn time. I think they despawn after three hours (Nothing beats walking into a dungeon, hitting track, and finding six rares :)
