A rocky terrain taking its name from the lake it surrounds, this area is home to wandering undead, snakes, orcs, and goblins. Watch your step !

At the bottom of Dagnor's Cauldron is Kedge Keep, an underwater dungeon entered from the floor of the lake. And along the southern mountain boundary is a tunnel leading to the undead-ridden manor, Unrest.

Dosen't evryone agree? I mean everything looks the same, (Big grey rocks) and its constantly foggy, and rainy, so just saying, if you don't have gate, and your lost, I would just lol, erase the character because really this place is agrovating

Llara is a consistent 5 minute spawn on the rock in the water just outside the tunnel leading to Unrest. She is in fact part of a paladin quest. She is level 33 and the experience is awsome. There is no faction hit and no loot, just nice experience.

It is used in the Chalice of Conquest quest. Starts with the fishing Paladin at the BB docks. The quest has one of the best write ups I have read. Do a search for Chalice and you should see it.
Something is wrong with their faction
# Jun 08 2001 at 9:14 PM Rating: Default
I just checked out all their factions. I should be amiable or allied with all of them but I am KOS. Their faction must be screwed. The only other possibility is if everyone in here, some how magically screwed up their faction with these guys without killing things that give you faction hits with them.

They fixed this problem in a recent patch. These two-timing bastages should no longer assist goblins.

Hopefully they won't agro people casting harmless spells in their vicinity any more either, but watch yourself around them anyway.

Damn them NPCs
# Jun 08 2001 at 8:58 PM Rating: Default
I am a lv18 cleric of Tunare. And when I conned the NPCs in the small camp between the Butcherblocks and Unrest I noticed they conned, "This NPC considers you --. This looks pretty dangerous" or something like that. But for some reason, I was -- to them rather than Dubious, threatening, or Amiable. Well any ways, I was certain I wasn't KOS with them because I could have swore traveling within their aggro range. So when I was running from an Aqua Goblin Shaman and a Marine I didn't bother going around the camp. But much to my demise all the NPCs in the camp turned beat me to death. I had to call upon my wizard friend to invis me so I could get my body back.
Also, after he invised me I headed torwards Unrest. I was going to cross the path of a Skele so I conned him... Indifferent blue. For some reason he couldn't see through normal invis so I traveled on by.
Heh, then later, I made a stupid move, bound myself just inside Unrest. So when someone trained to zone, and I died.... well, lets just say dying 4 times in 2 minutes isn't very pretty. I had to crash my computer to get out of the horrendous loop.

The NPCs in DC seem to be KOS to me now though I don't know why. Everyone else in my group has had the same experience over the past couple of days? Anyone know why? No, we are not necros or SKs. I am a lvl 16 ranger and the rest were Warrior/Wizard/Druid/and Cleric around 15-20. We have all walked right passed this group many times and had nothing happen in fact I run to them when i get jumped by goblins, but lately they've been KOS.

Not sure on specifics of this female.I con'd her in wolfform, she regarded me indifferently such as a merchant would, but sold nothing(and was blue at 36). When I hailed her, the reply was "Hail<my name>". She was standing on a rock in the water infront of the Unrest tunnel.I was going to try to kill her but i was there for Bilge and there was no garauntee that she would even drop anything, and if not then i would be oom "IF" Bilge were to pop. Maybe she's a quest involved person and i dont have good enuf faction, who knows...'cuase i dont. 8)~ (ohh, btw she was dressed in mail, held no weapon or shield at the time that i seen her)

She's part of a quest, I think it was a Paladin thing. It's a four part "run". I forget where it starts.

I decided to risk the faction and have a go at this new NPC. At level 51, she was green, but still hit in the high 60's. She has about 1000-1200hps although I didn't actually count. She dropped absolutely nothing, and resulted in no faction hits. Her spawn spot is consistent with previous message, that being a location in the water in front of entrance to Unrest.

One tip for traveling around here would be to BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU STEP!!!!!!! The cliffs drop suddenly and it is a long fall. Take it slowly when you walk. Even then, don't be suprised if you fall for 10 or 20 damage.

Nobody else I ask does either. Any clues out there? Im guessing this is a rare drop from an underused zone so not many ppl will know
Here is the truth on Bilge/Dwigus
# Sep 22 2000 at 1:35 AM Rating: Excellent
Ok, I camped this area for 32 straight hours (with the help of a friend.) Dwigus 3 times and Bilge once. All 4 came by the same spot at neg1000, pos330. First we killed Dwigus, PRECISELY 8 hours later Dwigus again. PRECISELY 8 hours later Dwigus again. and PRECISLEY 8 hours later Bilge (had belt) The first time we killed dwigus, the next 8 hours we killed anything that moved (level 55 Warrior, Level 55 Druid) Didnt change the spawn rate whatsoever.
Also, Dwigus did drop the ignot for the Cleric BP everytime and Bilge did not. I hope that clears up ALL the bogus entries and help everyone out :) Good luck all.

Thanks a ton for the information, Im not sure but i think you are right, although saturday night i saw bilge at about 8pm, then sunday the server was s\down for about an hour on karana and i camped bilge 8 hours each day... sunday i got off about 9pm... monday i was camping from 3pm-11pm and I killed Dwigus 2 times and Bilge spawned at 9:45pm... im thinking bilge might be an exact 24 hour spawn, because since the server went down for an hour it slowed the spawn time, although i wasnt able to see if bilge spawned between 9 and 10 on sunday because i logged, tonight i am going to be on from 3pm-11pm again all night looking for bilge, if he spawns around 10pm... i KNOW he is an exact 24 hour spawn... or 48 hour spawn if that... and i do know for a fact no whe does nto have a PH. Saturday night some 521 ranger beat me to bilge... monday i was grouped with a guy so we didnt have to be stressed out and see who could find him faster, and he won the lotto on the belt :(
RE: Here is the truth on Bilge/Dwigus
# May 07 2001 at 5:21 PM Rating: Default
I think verant threw in a little trick... Dwigus is a place holder for Bilge, since they put him in, and now Bilge spawns SLOWER... But, Dwigus has the cleric quest item. Both spawn in the same place, have the same path, etc. Bilge is a shaman, Dwigus a warrior/monk/rogue (not sure, a good druid doesn't find out what type of melee something is... : ) Both around level 36, both, or course, tougher than they should be for the con, but that's expected. Hope this helps some.

found an exiled legionaire at one the camps, got a blood stained note from him : lore, no-drop. i'm sure it's a quest item, anyone know for sure?
RE: exiled legionaire ??

Yes, it is part of a Paladin Chalise of Conquest quest out of Kaladim... eventual reward of sword. This note is only a small part of the quest, however.

The Chalice of Conquest
# Aug 04 2000 at 11:57 AM Rating: Decent
OK just to clear up some rumors, the exiled legionaire is part of the Chalice of conquest quest which results in one of the paladin holy swords the holy partisan of underfoot. The note on the legionaire pretty much is a confirmation of the blue orc Klunga's death, saying they dragged his body from Rathe to the cauldron and burned him and burried the chalice. You talk to the gnome caster at that camp, do a small quest and he revives captain klunga, you go give Klunga a shovel you get in lake Rathe and he goes out into the cauldron and digs up the chalice, then afterwards attacks you. But this is only a piece of the whole quest.
Dwigus
# Jun 12 2000 at 7:40 AM Rating: Decent
Theres now a goblin named Dwigus (Lowwater?), not sure on the last name, ive killed him like 7 times. Hes atleast a level 35 and if he gets in hitting range hurts pretty bad. Hes got the ingot for the cleric bp. As far as i know he drops it everytime. Ive gotten 5 of the BPs for my guild so far.

I have killed this legionaire as well at level 30. He conned lowish green (You could probably win this fight) to me, but seemed to have a lot of HP for a low green. He dropped a bloodstained note, which I haven't deciphered yet.

While passing the orc camp i killed an
"exiled legionaire" which i think was about level 20 due to the way he hit. He dropped a tattered note or something like that written in a different language. Does anybody know what quest this belongs to?

Cleric armor part
# Mar 14 2000 at 11:50 AM Rating: Decent
The part for the Chestplate of the Constant no longer drops on Bilge, as too many non-cleric classes would camp him, kill him, and destroy the part. It's now on another named Goblin spawn in the zone.
