I waz killed by a Aquestripp of coruppted its a kind of unicorn but evil one, it damage me for 56, 42,67, 137 (it can make a strange spell, I don´t know what it dose).

| Sandwiched between two fairly soft zones (the Greater Faydark and Steamfont Mountains),
the Lesser Faydark is the site of many-a-newbie deaths as this can be a rather treacherous area. The most noteable threats to travellers are the undead, shadowed men, brownie guards, and Equestrielle the Corrupted, all of which can make quick work of low level gnomes and elves who are misfortuned enough to happen upon them. Those same dangers can make for decent experience to the more seasoned adventurers, as can the notorious dungeon, Mistmoore's Castle, which is located in the southwestern part of this zone. |

Not in the list of NPC monsters above, but someone mentioned this guy and that he drops a magical bow, so since I have a ranger around the right level on test, what gives with this guy? Where does he spawn, what is his level, how often does he drop the bow? Anyone?

You might want to read that NPC list again, Merinda. Whimsy Larktwitter (it's a she, not a he, by the way) is the second to last NPC listed.

Whimsy is a rare spawn and the Larktwitter Bow is the rare drop. Her common drop is the Larktwitter Arrow.

could someone explain to me how they determine what level cons what color? I was in Lfay helping a 37 Pally get fairy dust for RO armour quest. The gaurds conned blue to both of us (I am 36 cleric), that's DARK blue. Also Gearhart conned blue too? all four time we killed him. this thing has Gear listed at 26 high end. is a blue con REALLY 10 levels lower? same with the fairy guards, every once in a while we would get one that was Light blue to 37 (all of them dark blue to me @ 36) hell they was a bit tough for us to take out sometimes. Dern fairies heal each other in battle lol I am not complaining too much though. when the Pally got enough dust, I was 3 yellows bubs up, when I was expecting zilch!!

Red is 3 or more levels above you.
Yellow is 1 or 2 levels above you.
White/black is same level as you.
Blue goes down to about 2/3 of your level (or up to about 5 levels below for the younguns).
Light blue (I think you start seeing that around 25) goes a few levels below blue (partial exp).

Is anyone familiar with this creature? I killed one today looking for pixie dust and I got several faction hits, not the normal faction hit I get when killing pixies. I don't see him on the lists of faction changes nor do I see him the beastiary.
He dropped pixie dust, silver earring, and a gem.

I read somewhere that killing him will mess up druids' faction with the animals which are druid-friendly. So, I expect this is a "nature-loving" pixie?

Thought maybe some of you tree-huggers would know....I am a troll shammy trying to score the chief's tongue for my Totemic Boot quest. I was double-teamed by these two horses, the pained wound up with the killin blow, I almost made the zone to Steamfont. Anywho, I used invis. vs. animals on CR, nothing happened, just wonderin if I could use it to somehow protect my **** while meddin'. Any info will help folks |0)

Well, actually this is my second respone to the first one, what attacked you was a blighted mare and it hurts! i was strollling in lfay today and suddenly got hit and knocked to the ground hard, next thing i know, a horse is trampling on me. It KOS's lighties and unless you have good faction with th darkies, ( which I doubt ) might not KOS you.

Ok first off it wasnt a blighted mare at level 30 mare blighted mare should go down with out too much trouble. The one thats doing the deed is Equestrielle the Corrupted. He very fast sees thre camo and hits like a nulclear warhead. Ive seen him bound across half the zone and in a blink so keep track up and stay away from him.

Well, hehe .. SoL was on dec 4 and thats when u replied, u sure no one charmed an evil horse to kell you or something lol j/k but actually it could be a mob, probably an evil race quest unlike the opposite of the pained unicorn. thats my guess /shrug

I was running around LFay today waiting for Thistle to respawn, and I came across a Tainted Brownie on track. I didn't track him down, because he was red to me (at 32). I don't see him on the list anywhere... is he related to the corrupted brownie? I know there are several tainted/corrupted combinations...
By the way, if this mob has already been mentioned, I apologize. I didn't feel like going through the 6 pages of posts. :)

The shadow code book is part of the Orc Impaler quest. The Orc Impaler is a ranger only piercing weapon. Heres the infor about the quest:

Why is there almost no loot from any of the named mobs listed? Is it one of those random drop from all the brownies and such (like runnyeye)?

Would anyone know where the ghasts that are needed for the Tunare Initiate quest tend to hang out? Given the levels of some of the other beasties in here I'd like to avoid some of them and locate the ghasts as quickly as possible with a minimum of my being killed too often (grin)

Random throughout most of the zone, spawn only at night (might be found later, they don't automatically despawn at dawn), wandering undead (skellies & mummies) are placeholders.
Suggest wolf-form to keep the brownies off your back, and either a tracker or undead locator (though the fixed undead spawns at the pillar interfere with this a bit).

The necro you seek is Larik Z'Vole. He's listed above in the beastiary. He spawns at the Haunted Shrine (#8 on eqatlas map).

Not sure if it is a new mob, but not listed above is a "tainted brownie". This thing moves at unholy speed, sees through superior camoflage, and seems to track me down. He runs the NE part of the zone mostly but moves so fast it's hard to tell. My level 21 wood elf Druid was wiped out in two spells.

Ok this is some info on some of the new mobs...
ON the iskar thats is for some quest...that is related to the DREAD... the mini cazic. you can look it up on this site...(allakazam) go to quest by zone. the little brownie that con's ally to a ranger i dont know what that is for... i never killed her but she doesnt talk to me or accept any of the stuff dropped off the new mobs.
the fairie that drops the wing is now on the beasty now and still no info...the fairie for the rain Caller i am wondering what happened? I have been hunting in Lesser for 12hours and no spawn ..

The other day I hunted in LFay on the Bertoxxulous server camping the undead pixie camp, but today I get on and the sky's not red anymore and everything's back to how it used to be. Anyone have any word on this and if it just goes back and forth between cursed and normal or if maybe this was a one time event that is now over?

From everything I've heard from players on several servers, L Fay has been reset. No more Frightlings.
