| Ancient tales speak of an evil pact between the rulers of the planes of Fear and Hate that spawned this murky wetland. In homage and pride of this legend, the trolls who have inhabited these swamplands for eras have named this dank region Innothule.
Spiraling upward like the twisted, gnarly fingers of Innoruuk himself, willows and other dreary swampland trees are generously scattered across the terrain. A thick layer of brown and emerald, mossy slime blankets the earthen shores and the trunks of the swampland behemoths. Several mounts of damp, moldy earth rise up from the shallow waters, carving a chaotic and awkward path of solid ground. |

i got this hammer from merchant for like 21 pp its 2hb something like 39 to 43 delay and 12 damage its magic and lore where does it come from
It comes from the Crypt of Dalnir. Fairly rare drop in there.

met a basher nkekta? not sure about name but sure he strong. i am lvl26 he was red killed me with one hit.

Ok folks here is all I know about the new bashers: location they wander around between the troll vendor in the hand and the zone to south ro. I have even seen them wander around in front of the zone to ferrot tho rarely. Being a 55 troll warrior that has achieved ally status with the bashers, I noted that basher kazrak ( the sk troll with the pet skelly) coned indiff and green to me. I am dub with troll sk and ally with bashers and warriors so I killed him ...no faction hit! and he dropped artierial blood ..everytime I have killed him now.
Bashher Nkekta is a true basher warrior. Conned blue to me (prob like grobb guards lvl 50) and Ally so I left him alone to save my hard earned faction. Seems basher Nkekta is Kazrak's place holder as I have never seen them both up at same time and they have the same wandering area. Basher Kazrak is easy to kill and has no faction hit so I am thinking he is needed for a quest of some type tho I have yet to figure that part out.
Hope this helps and if anyone has info on what the arterial blood is for. Please let me know.

More Info:
Conned blue to 28. He is an SK but does not HT or cast spells - he does proc disease cloud however. Does not hit very hard but does have many hps. Conned indifferent and there are NO faction hits for killing him. I also recieved arterial blood. Going to OT later to check up on that lead.

Aye saw him today green and Dubious to me 46 was gonna kill him but thought better of it.I'd just zoned in from S Ro he was heading south then turned east and walked past the Troll merchant.Thats when i logged to find out who or what he is for.

That new basher is true i saw him the other day forgot to get a screen shot but he has planar looking armor and yes he does have a pet he conned red to my ogre Sk lvl 23 and he didnt aggro me though i had bad basher faction. he is the coolest looking basher i have ever seen

I was roaming around Inny and I happened to use sense the dead, and Basher Kazrak's Pet appeared. It was pecuilur, because I had never heard of him, and he had a pet, which probably meant he was a SK, and he was in the location of S Ro. I found him, and killed him, he was green at 48, and no trouble. I got an Arterial Blood from him, and I am not sure what its for.

I dont know much about this new Basher, but I recently made a troll SK and level'd him up a bit to take over to Kunark (I made him worship CT to try to get easier faction with the ikkies).
Anyways, I get over to the outpost in Overthere and decide to go visit the general (the ghost whose building is guarded by steel golems. I enter and see the general, the iksar cowering in the corner(the one who says something about betraying his people, and an ogre in one of the side rooms.
Now this ogre worships Cazic Thule and is in an elite order of SKs that seems to be recruiting, because he talks about Basher Kazrak being his superior. I am sure you have to repeat something the ogre says to Kazrak to respond.
I dont remember the conversation that well and forgot all about it until I saw this post. But I am absolutely sure he said Kazrak. I have his name written down right here <holds sticky-pad up to screen>, see?
I hope this turns into something worthwhile.

if u want to know to get fation with grobb, i should know. i tried doin it once. got to dubious and wasted the rest of bone chips. watu need to do is collect bone chips. this can take time or money. after gettin like a bag full of stacks of bone chips, ask a druid to go to inno swamp, wolfie u AND a invis. very important. next go in grobb, get a wolfie again, then hed over to hukulk, guild leader of troll SK guild. take off invis, hes amiable. with wolfie give him 4 bone chips at a time. gets ur faction up with sk and bashers(guard + warrior guild). note it gives ur faction down with oggok sk and war guild (traitors! : P) so if u wanna do oggok after this, itl take a helluva long time. after givin all bone chips u will probly be at least dubios to guards and at least indifferent to sk.

Yeah, sure, just walk right in the front door . . . No. You might be able to work some faction up by killing one Troll outside of Ak'Anon, but I doubt it. No, you will not be able to go to Grobb as a human, as far as I know.

I seem to have noticed a pattern in Innothule. Swamp Alligators seem to spawn in pairs by the tower. kill enough of them and a Bull will spawn. Kill the Bull and there's a chance that the fattie will spawn. Camped the swamp for 2 days and only saw 1 Fat Alligator, although he didn't drop the severed arm for the Crude Stein quest, just some patchwork boots. Does anyone else have any info? Am I doing something wrong, or am I perhaps not high enough to get the arm? Thank for any info!

Ya probably already found the answer to your question, but heck. No, melee types can't be bound here. Evils have a shot at being bound in Grobb or (just next door in the Feerott) Oggok, goods can try and bind just inside Oggok zone if they're into living dangerously, and other than that we're talking a long corpse run if ya die.

I keep finding these mushrooms, what are they for ?
These ground spawns, like the Swamp Vegetables, are part of the Potter's recipe for crafting a Spiritstone of Innothule.
Unlimited right-click self port to the Stone Hand in Innothule Swamp where the DoT vendor resides, usable by either Troll or Ogre Shaman.
Potters will generally pay a pretty penny for either the mushrooms or the veggies because harvesting them yourself *really* sucks.

I found a NPC named Gwynn Marthank
she con'ed yellow to me and im lvl 10.
she dropped a Nobels crest, and a hunting bow.
she shoulb be in the bestiary.

I am new to da swampy and find a big guy wid funny orange hat bumin around da area wid da widdle spore guys. Da sporeman tracker boomed me pweddy hard on da noggin, but me bein a **** level shammy knock tracker guy on hid butt and take his hat. Now me best lookin trolly in da swamp. ^_^ Me wud guess dat dis guy range fwum wevel 3-6ish. Bud dont take me wurd onit.

While hunting for bull gators (sigh, over 40 bulls and no skin yet) we came across an alligator tooth on a bull gator. Doublechecked the rivervale quest just in case they changed it... nope, still wants a skin. Anyone know of any use for an alligator tooth? This was on Test server, btw...

Just in case quest text was wrong, gave a tooth to Marshall Anrey, I think it is? That gives the quest. Anyhow, had 4 teeth, figured what the heck. Giving him the tooth did NOT help with the quest -- so he must still require a skin. Guess it's back to the swamp, about 15 hours and counting so far. :( This is on Test.

I have been playing eq since release, i have pretty much lived based out of swamp and grobb, i have NEVER seen this before but I have found an NPC troll named Sacknut (i know doesnt sound right hehe) cant hail, /who /guildstat inspect, attack, cast spells on, but giving stuff does work just like any npc, green to a 45th no idea wasup he didnt move or make a sound. 12/21/00

The alligtor tooth isused to get a class specific set of armor forthe beastlords. TheName of the quest is Dark One's Armor. The quest starts in grobb, by a troll named ?Gurgh? spelling may be wrong. The quest is a series of four small quests. The first being to turn in four froglok tad skins to him. The next is to turn in a giant rat ear and giant rat pelt, the next is to turn in the Alligator tooth, and the last step being to turn in a vial of froglok blood. With each step in the quest you get a piece of Dark One's armor, postive faction with the troll shadownights, and negative faction with the Froglok's of Guk. You also get a bit of exp for each step. Hope this helps

Bull Alligator tooth also used in task. My level 10 druid had to kill 10 Bull Alligators, collect 4 Bull Alligator Teeth. I got a Pristine Skin but 14 alligators not one tooth. Sigh.

I just found a green Froglok Skin. I have been killing them for awhile to pass the time and have never found one. (currently looking for gater skin). It is tradeable, I am wondering what it is for.

You may want to check out the Leatherfoot Raider Skullcap quest in Rivervale if u have one of these gator skins. They are rather hard to come by it seems. The other items, including the dragoon dirk ( for the advanced hat) are easy. Check it out.

I was lvl 16 going after the Leatherfoot Raider Cap quest while hunting bulls in Innothule for a skin. I remember one night where one or two of them actually conned blue to me, and even lots of the green ones gave me exp, so I have to question this list where it says bulls are lvl 9-9.

Turn the crest in to the Ogre Warriors guild in Oggok. I can't remember which NPC to give it to, so make sure you can hail them before you try.
