This forest serves as the gateway into Norrath for the wood elves of Kelethin and high elves of Felwithe. And with Ak'Anon and Kaladim so close by, it is not uncommon to see gnomes and dwarves throughout the area as well.

Don't let the safety of Kelethin's well-fortified boundaries fool you. While the area has numerous guard posts and patrols, the further you travel away from the city the higher level of danger and risk you will encounter.

The orc stronghold of Crushbone can be found along the northern boundaries of the forest while the darker, more dangerous Lesser Faydark lies to the south. Only those more experienced should consider travelling to the two areas.

Anyone know the faction of the guards? I wanna raise my faction with 'em with my DE Necro. It's possible, really! I saw one of em at Kelethin standing next to the guards. wasn't invis or anything. maybe he killed a lot of trees..

All you need to do is kill enough Crushbone Orcs and they will become indifferent to you

Only problem with this, is that the Orcs lower your faction with the Indigo Brotherhood when they die. If I recall there are a number of dark elf NPC's out there attached to this faction (including some in Neriak I believe)
