This forest serves as the gateway into Norrath for the wood elves of Kelethin and high elves of Felwithe. And with Ak'Anon and Kaladim so close by, it is not uncommon to see gnomes and dwarves throughout the area as well.

Don't let the safety of Kelethin's well-fortified boundaries fool you. While the area has numerous guard posts and patrols, the further you travel away from the city the higher level of danger and risk you will encounter.

The orc stronghold of Crushbone can be found along the northern boundaries of the forest while the darker, more dangerous Lesser Faydark lies to the south. Only those more experienced should consider travelling to the two areas.

I have been playing for a month now and im still trying to get the hang of everquest. The most money i ever got was 20 pp. My main and only char is a 11 ranger in Gfay named Tevarian. Does anyone have any tips or advice. And how do you take sceenshots.

I love playing my ranger. Of course I have like 8 characters but my ranger is my main. Wouldnt have it any other way. Only thing I regret is starting fletching late (didnt even know what it was at the time) and not traveling to a lot of other zones besides gfay, CB, BB and Unrest. Missed out on a lot of cool zones at the low levels. I guess that is why I have so many alts. :) Its no fun to run in the zone now at 53 and slaughter everything... some days I miss being a n00b!

Also, do the n00b quests and your trushot bow quest. Should be easy at your lvl. I wish they had those quests when I started. Smiley: disappointed

Two tips off the top of my head:
1) If you're a Ranger, go to the Ranger forum here on this site. Any and all information you want as far as playing a Ranger is in there. You just have to look and you'll find what you're looking for there.

2) Screenshots are taken by hitting the minus key (-) next to your number pad on your keyboard. The screenshots themselves are kept in your Everquest folder on your hard drive.

Good choice being a Ranger (I'm a lil biased lol), they are in my opinion the most fun class to play. Have fun newb...you're going to love Norrath.
