The Loping Plains occupy the central area of Faydwer. Once a healthy habitat for a large variety of Tunare's creations, the Loping Plains has become cursed and twisted by the influence of dark powers.

From the south, the dark forces of the Bloodmoon tribe creep out from Bloodmoon Keep threatening to consume the land, while the curse of an angry god pulses from the northern coast and the Hills of Shade.

A large outdoor area, this place is great for kiting as most non-named mobs do not summon.

I came across some stationary mobs/items called disturbed earth. I wondered if anyone else has come across these. You can not attack nor /open them.

They are related to the new Halloween quest given by Edmund Strangeways in POK. He's located next to Zigan Ribshard (the goblin that gave the frozen skelly illusion Halloween masks from a few years ago).

ADD: a Bloodmoon guard

lvl 80 mob, spawned (2) while fighting a Bloodmoon mystic....dunno if they are uber rare (never seen them before) or came from somwhere else in zone. Not listed here, so figured i'd post it.

dropped reg garbage loot like other Bloodmoon mobs do.

perhaps the worst zone in all of eq. mobs warp left and right, pathing is screwy.fighting mob get it below 20% and it warps away,doesnt gate just warps out,its a big pain

I solo along the west side of this zone almost daily and I haven't had any problems like this. The worgs and orcs wander and are easy to single pull, and very plentiful. I'd say this is one of the easiest solo zones in EQ.

I have seen this warping. But I think it mostly depends on the camps. The camp listed above only warps if you pull from over the hills. I have never seen the crocs warp. As for the shadowmanes next to the crocs. If you try a long pull to the beach it happens. I have seen the skellies by the vamp caves warp alot. Imo the crocs are the best hunting here. Fastest respawn time I have seen here and all singles. Goodluck.

2 days ago, I started seeing " A Tiny Worg". All of them are level 80. Thats all I know, I didn't try to hit them. Hope this helps.

The A Tiny Worg mobs that spawn are part of a quest from Fenden Helter in Dragonscale. The person doing the quest spawns them by walking over the correct spot in their trail through this zone. Then, the person doing the quest clicks their special quest item that kills the little buggers for an update. If you're not the one doing the quest, no reason to worry about these guys.

These spwan with the bloodmoon ambusher captain,during the "Daring rescue" quest.They were dark blue to level 78.Parse from 81k-88k hp's.Non summoning also.

Last mob in Vrald's Lost Brother task, Elladrial spawns in the big top with 3 " phanton guardian" mobs, along with the ghosts that normally spawn in there. She was snareable/rootable and did not summon. Was yellow to me at 78. Easy root/rot after splitting her from the guardians and the one ghost that I didn't get to pacify.

There are three "a phanton guardian" that spawn in the last fight for the Vrald's Lost Brother task. They are inside the big top with the elven ghost Elladrial. They were snareable and rootable, did not engage so not sure if they summon. I was able to pull Elladrial off down the road and they reset back to the big top, so don't appear to be leashed. Not sure if pacify works since aggrod Elladrial before I got to hit them with it...

Mob Wegar's Ghost is part of the Vrald's Lost Brother task. He's the next to last mob you face, just before the elven ghost. He was even to me at 78, was snareable, rootable, and did not summon. He went down as easily as any of the other mobs in the task, likely similar in hit points to Larwynn the Haunting.

Found several "a cursed remnant" in the horse coral in NW of zone. Every one dropped a Faende's Sagger Stick or a Faende's Earstud. They didn't respawn after we killed them. Then about an hour later a quest NPC named Dannie Highwind comes walking into the coral followed by a Necro. NPC walks to the middle of the coral and spawns all the "a cursed remnants" again. And once again they each dropped one of the two items.

the ghost of ellr somthing or other , conned yellow at level 80. he is the last mob for the Vrald silken sack quest . soloed the whole quest. nothing summoned , all kiteable .

A few new mobs were in the graveyard across from the chapel this morning - a bloodmoon alcolyte (there were 4) and High Shaman Nivag. Looked like they were performing a ceremony, the alcolytes were in a circle around Nivag gesturing while 3 untargetable mobs (lost souls) wandered inside the circle. Anyone know what this is about?
