The god of fear himself, Cazic Thule, resides here in the Plane of Fear. Its rough terrain and bloodred sky are indicative of the horrors that await those who dare venture here.

Deathtouching golems, shadowstepping scarelings, mass-dispelling tentacles terrors and evil eyes, blinding nightmares, and other vicious creatures are just a few of the denizens which serve Cazic Thule, and which look to destroy any mortals foolish enough trespass into their realm.

Level 46 is required to enter the zone.

I couldn't help but notice that all planar monk armour appears to be human only... whats up with that??? it's light.. it's airy (so iksars wont overheat).. so on so forth.. so whats the reason for ripping of the iksar's??? anyone have answers.. i mean the equipment guide could just be outdated.. any help would be appreciated

Iksars don't have planer armor, it's a big ***** you iksars for some reason. Same as how we don't have any of that real fancy kunark art like Druids do.

i dont get this game i mean they have creatures from greek myths and roman eq the have griffens and roks. roks are frome variose roman lore but the griffens were from manny diffrent greek myths

I believe the person was asking why this game draws on so MANY genres and mythos. I think the REAL answer is that EQ believes "their" mythos is an "uber-mythos" wherein their "Gods" drawn on and create from all "nightmares" and "myths." ... For example it could be argued that Cazic-Thule is the original creator of Gorgons, and that some of them just appeared in Greek myths. .... Or we could just simplify the answer to "it's just a game." I tend to not really care what something is called or looks like after the first time I kill it. After that point it is just another thing to kill/loot or flee/be-killed-by.

He (Cazic-Thule himself) is level 65. (They did update the bestiary on him, not sure how long ago.) Makes him seem less of a chump now that 2 groups of 53+ people can't take him out without fear.

Tentacle terrors drop Thorny vine (rng only green plate armor) and fluxbladed axes (rng only 150 DD proc and nice stats buffs). Cazic Thule (once upset -- killing the fright dread or terror usually causes this) will begin Death touching someone randomly every 30 seconds or so till everyone is gone and yes he will say their name in caps. When this happens ya gotta camp out for a few minutes and come back , everyone =)

TT's don't drop fluxbladed axes... Samhain's drop the axe... they have it in their hand if they're going to drop it too...

Also the TT's have a druid only belt that they can drop

Cazic Thule has the nasty habbit of randomly screming someones name in all caps then death touching them....from anywhere in the zone....at any time.... I love this zone :)
