The god of fear himself, Cazic Thule, resides here in the Plane of Fear. Its rough terrain and bloodred sky are indicative of the horrors that await those who dare venture here.

Deathtouching golems, shadowstepping scarelings, mass-dispelling tentacles terrors and evil eyes, blinding nightmares, and other vicious creatures are just a few of the denizens which serve Cazic Thule, and which look to destroy any mortals foolish enough trespass into their realm.

Ire Blind IMP Nowhere to be found

My guild gathered up about 20 or so peeps and went into Fear last night. Break-in was relatively easy. We were the only ones in the zone. Killed countless Scarelings and still never saw this guy. We were there for about 3 hours. So maybe SoE changed things with him. Just a guess.

I certainly hope so!

I took a raid there a few weeks ago, it was nasty business. Imp popped about 3 times in less than an hour, which was major suckage because we were not looking for him.

Well, 1st scareling we killed popped this guy on break-in... nasty business? That's putting it nicely...

Spent the majority of the night doing CRs...

But hey, at least I've seen what PoF looks like now! :D

Yep still there I'm afraid. Went in there with 2 chanters and killed everything but scarelings all around the entry hill and the houses/towers near the hill to be sure all other mobs were dead. Once that was done the first scareling we killed spawned a larger Imp though not Ireblind. So we thought "hey great they changed the mob".... nope. Killing that imp spawned Ireblind and that's when things got nasty. We had the crimson potions so we all drank one, though we had to click off regen in order to get it to break mez (aa regen or worn regen didn't effect the potions ability to break the mez). We started into him and soon he proced his little friends, then more and more (looked like about 6 per proc). We tried to ignore them and just pound on Ireblind but the adds soon killed the chanters and that set the scarelings free. It was just too many adds and we wiped.

Good news was that he and his friends all stay there, so we had the mages summon us some armor and weapons and went in the opposite direction (reason why we killed all the mobs around the entry). Only reason why we needed the armor and weapons was because we had to deal with the scarelings we never got a chance to kill. So we killed all of them and set to get our corpses. First we used Zomm eye's and the like to get the corpses on target and had everyone target their corpse. Then I had a wizard cast an xloc to bind on me (I am a cleric) and I cast DA on myself and ran straight through the crowd of mobs including Ireblind and trained them all as far north as I could. After DA faded and finally he cast the mez, I hit YES to the xloc and popped to my bind point. I was then able to head back into fear. Unfortunately Ireblind and all his friends will return to that wipe point so it was crucial that everyone rush in and drag their corpse out of there. We rezed got our real armor and set out to kill the SoB.

Anyone that could cast an PBAE spell loaded it up. We picked a good spot to do the kill (SW corner of zone) and pulled Ireblind and all his friends over. The good news is that the smaller friends only have about 4k hp so a few AE's and they are out of the picture. Everyone jumps on Ireblind (make sure to have 2 crimson potions as the fight will most likely take more then 3 minutes) and when he sends out the pets all that can AE do so. Will kill the adds quickly and if you are doing all of this close enough to Ireblind it will hit him too. Keep it up and soon enough he will fall. Is a fun fight.

Btw... we are not uber by any means. We are just a casual raiding guild that does epic and low level PoP stuff. Nothing elemental or anything like that. We had about 18 people for this fight (average level of raid was 63), so don't despair... it is possible to do this fight without having elemental or time equipped people. Good luck!
