Was wondering if anyone knows about the unrefined ore that drops off the gobbies. I was vaguely told its for a quest to "refill the HQ ore" vendors. Where can I initiate this quest? I need HQ ore. =P

This scout is for the beastlord epic. With out the seal he needs nothing will happen. He He I wouldnot be around tho when someone does give him the seal.

i was looking around for a new weapon for my shamy and i came across a weapon called"barbarian hunting spear". It has a little bit better stats then the weapon i have now(DW harpoon) and the site said it drops off "an injured polor bear" in perma. does anyone know what lv this guy is and the price of the spear? the site said 300pp but i think it would be more since my DW harpoon was 1k.

I was spending quite amount of time in Perma when he first started appearring. First saw him during the GM Events a week or two ago. Since we had no idea what he was talking about nor had the desire to leave Perma, we offed him (Doesn't drop anything). He only shows up on occasion. Took a screenshot of what he says, its as follows:
"Scout Janomin says: "It is a pleasure to meet you , but I do not have time to speak. I am waiting on official word from Shar Vahl. If you have been sent to assist me, please show me the Official Seal of the Khati Sha at this time. If you are not such a person, please carry on with your business and leave me to tend mine."
Also noticed he automatically would start talking periodically, similiar to Novashine in North Qeynos. Forget the message though.

Just a point. Khati Sha is Vah Shir for Beastlord. Perhaps he has something to do with the Beastlord epic? *shrug* Just a thought.

I dont think Khati Sha means Beastlord in Vah Shir... Since there IS a mob in Akheva called Khati Sha the Twisted. hehe Beastlord the Twisted.... lol

The other day I was in perma camping items and saw a Scout Janomin on tracking.
Found him hiding between the set of rocks right before you go up the ladder near the entrance.
He is a quester for the new SoL, but has anyone does the quest, and what do you get from it?

I was here holding a raid (non Vox) just giants and this freaking blue looking dwarf came outta nowhere and annihilated everything he saw! he hit my friend 4 times for 350,257,401, and 400!

I was here for the first time today, as my Monk, need the Zaharn's Coronet for my Purple headband. This is one very nice Dungen. Very well laid out from what I could see, ( NOTE for as far as I got in, which was few steps into the Kings room ). The MoBs seemed to be picky on when they would attack, even on the low greens. Casters are abondent, and they can put a hurting on you fast, if you are not watching. All in all this is a very nice place to hunt and from looking at the loot list, seems you could make a nice haul in here too. Pitty I will be heading to The Crypt of Dalnir after I get the Quest Piece, to get some Monk armor.

I've never been to Permafrost before, so I paid a visit today. I was the only one in the zone and Lady Vox was up.
And for the 40 pally asking if he can solo the king room: Everything is aggro, and there were several healers and wizards. An elite guard saw thru invis and I had 3-4 gobs to deal with (46 druid).

Could a 40 pally better then your average gear solo the King's Room?

If you pick your fights and keep yourself to one or two mobs at a time you should be able to amke it, better to bring one other with you in case though. I was ok as a 45 war, biggest prob was heal down time :(

i just took some pic of lady vox herself, although she will kill you (if you are level 52 below) or boot you out (53 and above) when you get near her. there is another way to get thru her without passing the door and fighting those darn giants. near her lair is a passage that requires dmf or lev to get thru, although even if you have lev, you cant still reach it. climb up those walls by sticking to the corner and wait for you to float up and then press forward. keep doing this till you you make it thru. once passed this 2 walls, vox will be near just way ahead the corner. the trick is to run fast enough and hope she dont summon you out fast before you can get a screenshot of her. took me 3 tries with one death (first try i got booted fast, second a 52 necro went with me and got agro) to get several pics of her.

Posted: Nov 28 2001 at 10:02 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Myself 41 mage 40 ranger, 34shaman and 45 sk walked in here tearin it up. my pet did it all then sk decided to camp and shaman got in trouble and died. yes died i'm amazed to. 3 of us walked into kings room and sk decided to become a deer in headlights as the sage nuked the ranger to death. my pet and aoe took apart everything while sk stood there casting invis on himself.lol Basically this place is easy if your smart DON'T go in there with someone who folds under pressure.lol this just happend so i'm still wondering how someone gets to lvl 45 and gets scared when a mob of greens comes at you. Oh yeah we were here looking for some greeves for some bard quest. i hate bards to so today was not good day. i lived and gated later with greeves and about 4 bags full of fs and a pissed off expression . oh yeah got ww cloak but sk looted it then lied when i asked stats saying it wasn't anything. oh yeah as he was leaving he got into trouble and thought he would pull whole zone to me so i could help. gated out he died. that only thing that made me happy.

I saw three mobs standing in the kings room called a Taitned kitty cat, a Tainted Kat, and a Greater taitned Kat Anyone know what these are??

You should be fine man, As a 39 warrior I ran all the way to the kings room and most mobs there are low blue to me, they should be green to you by now tho, if you are looking for a place to farm, perma shouldnt be bad for you. Good Hunting.

Hes right, iv been there when they did it once, i didnt believe it so i had to go watch, and by god they did it. i remind you AFTERLIFE is not uber, they are SUPER UBER. And to top it off, unlike DROW or any of thous other guilds, AFTERLIFE is nice to the locals and does not camp or farm the lower lvl stuff at all. Thank you and good day.

is it possible for a 25 sk to solo somethings in this place. Is the loot here good. If I can't solo is it easy to find a group. How many floors or levels does this place have. Can you see pit traps easily. and what is the closest place I can port to and get a bind at.

OK, I am gearing up to get ready to start attending Raids on Naggy and Vox. What kind of resist levels should I have as a base to be considered, and how do I confirm them with the Raid leader. I understand that sometimes a raid leader wants proof. If I have never worked with a person before and wanted to be able to count on them in a high-end Raid, I would want some kind of assurance, myself that the individual could be counted on when the going got tough.
Also, my character is posted on the site, so if anyone in the know wants to pop over and take a look at my gear and give me some constructive critisism on resist gear, please feel free. I am not rich, but realistic suggestions are more than welcome.

If you dont want to give 'proof' then certinaly you shoud not be on a raid. It is important to listen to the raid leader and coperate.
Base fire/cold resist pre-buff is 100. Magic resist is a plus, 80 prebuff is good.
Raid leaders who 'require proof' typically are running invite only raids and generally already know the Cold and Fire resists of the people they have invited met the critiria. For walk-ins or people whom such a raid leader doesnt know they will simply insepect the person and ask what thier resists are at. A raid leader of this typ is certianly familiar with nearly every resist gear for the typ of raid they are leading.
A raid leader who requires a minimum prebuff resist level is on top of things and in charge. If I went on a raid were those standards were not held I would expect failure - particularly with Vox - and would not be likely to go on another raid hosted by that leader.
I didnt spend XXXXpp working on my resist gear to have someone waltz in with no gear, die without making a contribution, and being entitled to the same loot odds that I am.

If you're on a raid when the raid leader wants proof, then you don't need to be on that raid.

Ive killed every goblin from the entarnce to the flag room over and over for 2 days where is this lousy no good for nothing goblin wizard at with my perma snowball?

What level can I start hunting here, I am currently a lvl 14 mage but plan to level up to 15 soon. I noticed that there are mobs below my level in the bestiary, would it possible for me to get in a group or even solo and sit by the zone and kill these things or will the higher level goblins spoil my fun?

this drops off of the goblins wizards that spawn randomly around the zone. during a 6 hour raid we killed at least 25 of these without one snowball to show for it. so... happy hunting!
