In my honest opinion, Oasis is one of the BEST all around zones in the game for characters in their teens.
Crocs and Caimans are perfect for partnering or soloing and Orcs are great if you feel like grouping.
Personally... the crocs are overcamped but its the way to go for fast and safe experince. Safe, you ask with your newbie eyes questioning the very word. Yes... SAFE. Check this out. Crocs dont aggro. EVER. Crocs dont group. Crocs dont take a bite out of a medding caster. They are simply walking around...waiting for you to begin beating on them for experience. Swear to God... it doesn't come any better than this!

Unfortunately I dont aggree at all. Post 10, I would rather hunt some lions and bears. get to 12, and junt firebeetles(giant) and maybe the occasional orc camp in EC. 12-14 maybe go after willow wisp or go to WK. I just dispise oasis. Its a great zone if you are on at an odd hour, and WANT to interact with others.
And as far as loot... at 12 i can hunt bandits in karanas and make MAD amounts of xp and money compared to oasis... and for oasis
The loot sucks, The xp is not THAT good. The broad span of level is not worth it, you are likely to be jumped by a ghoul, a mummy or a sand giant, lockjaw, the endless trains to docks or the nro zone line.... ETC ETC, oh and specres!
As far as XP and loot, you could hit the dervs right? well, there are much less camped derv camps in other zones.
I simply dispise oasis. post 16 go to HH pass. Its all drawn up EC,WC,HHP. The only reason I would hunt oasis,NRO,SRO is because of the pages that drop for research.
