The Jaggedpine Forest made its debut on July 24, 2002. It is home to a clan of Darkpaw gnolls, visitors from Qeynos and Surefall, as well as a host of many animals, most of which are very aggressive and sometimes difficult to see in the thicker regions of the forest.

Rangers and druids have (or supposed to have) an unchangable faction of amiable with animals. But in Jagged Pines, you can loose faction. So to be sure that you don't die everytime an animal walks by, leave them alone.

The animals in JP are on the same faction as the ones in Surefall. Killing any of the animals (in either zone) decreases your faction with all the animals in both zones, plus Surefall Ranger and Druid guilds, and Jaggedpine Residents as well.

With other animals anywhere, one's faction with them doesn't change when killing an animal. Whether good or bad, it stays the same - of course, other animals and animal-loving NPCs like Druids do assist their furry friends.

BTW, as an enchanter, Spirit Wolf form made me non-KOS to the animals here.

Not entirely true, I havent killed any bears wolves or pathers, but Griffons, griffawns and annacondas dont have any faction hits attatched.
