For those of us on PvP servers...Is PvP possible here? It would suck major horse apples to get PKed after making a huge sale...

to th guy that said that what color the horse was would be how fast it was (sry , to lazy to scroll) what colors go to what speed , ie :black slower=sow , white=selos , etc.

The color the horse is doesnt matter about the speed of the horse, it's the type of bridal you buy that determines that, there are 16 types of bridal. 4 different colors, and 4 different materials of bridal. The color just determines what color your horse is, the material of the bridal determines how fast your horse is.They range from rope(i think) as the cheapest to chain as the most expensive. So, a black rope bridal will be the same speed and cost as a white rope bridal.

I bought a horsey-worsey and it sucks, real hard. Can anyone tell me if there's a way to get a refund, or trade it in?!?!? I talked to the guides, but as usual, they are -useless-. The did however tell me "You must discuss this with one of the NPCs" Damn mysterious!!! They would give no further clues, they want me to "experience the magic and mystery for myself" funny...all i want is my money back to get a better one...no mystery there. Please lemme know, anyone.

I read an official message that you simply trade in your bridle to the NPC who offers to buy it. He trades you an item that you can sell to a vendor. No mention was made if this turns out to be an equal value item.

The new EC tunnel in Luclin is Shadow Haven. At least it is on Tribunal server. Most people conduct their business in front of the cleric hall (CH) cause its in the middle of the zone with a bank to the left.

a lvl 60 warrior in talisman told me that the 65k horse is as fast a the shaman spell spirit of the cheetah is this true???
Not the 65k one, no. The rope bridals summon a horse that's a little slower than sow, and a little faster than jboots. The chain bridals (the 110-130kish ones, depending on faction) summon a horse that's just a tad slower than Spirit of the cheetah. And considering that SoC is the fastest mode of transport in the game and lasts only 6 seconds (correct me if I'm wrong here), the 100kish horses rock ***.

Actually, Spirit of the Cheeta lasts 48 seconds. If it was 6 seconds, it surely wouldn't be a useful escape spell since it kills SOW and you have to drop wolfform before using it (if you are in wolfform since it wont overwrite it). Anyway, SoC is 99% (L24) to 115% (L40) movement increase (from EqCaster). While some numbers can be fudged in the spelldat.eff, this number effects the client and therefore is accurate (since the client dictates the player location to the server and not the other way around). Unforunately, I can't see any details in EqCaster on the horse speeds tho :(

I really think this zone will be awesome!My main market on my server is EC.I HATE going in there.Tons of auctions and i am usually talking to people so this zone makes it almost impossible to talk to someone.This zone is also a major lag zone!I can't wait for Luclin to come out so i can come to this zone to auction!!

Horses go for about 10k to 130k depending on how fast the horses is.

to buy a horse you choose a bridle. each bridle describes the color of the horse. the cost depends on their speed. they sell 8k to 130k. bridles are magic and no drop items so they cannot be traded bought from PCs or sold etc. i am looking forward to getting a horse and am selling a barbed ringmail on Xev. please buy it so i can have never ending pony rides. send tells to thruss about it.

so there are four zones that you can port to the nexus from? do you have to stand at the wizzy rings in those zones or something? that's kinda weird...

hopefully the newbies will stay in ec and the bazaar will have the higher level players selling better gear. sounds like a great idea.

I dont see any reason why our younger members should not be able to sell in the same place as higher level characters. If you dont like lowbies why dont all high levels just go and sell in some high level zone like eastern wastes or something? That would make more sense then telling newbs where to go.

Info. Ec is a really dumb market zone because it has no bank !>..) anyhow my server the market is Nfp)) Saryrn))
NFP is no better, half of norrath (if not more) are KoS in freeport (aside from those naturally kos, many ppl hunt humans) and EC is easier to get to neriak or WC (for ports to banks)... i always thought WC would be better cause of the ports but oh well

Actually On Saryrn those who are KoS have develped ways to avoid run-ins with guards. For example, there is a KoS Tunnel (near the zone water zone-in to WFP). Also, many people meet behind the Jade Tiger to trade, or show off bags of stuff. Having NFP as a market is pretty neat.

This is a great idea for a zone... for one main reason. A lot of equipment going in and out of SoL will pass through this zone because everyone has to go though the Nexus... Not only that, but people will be in need of pp, a lot more now that they have to spend so much money on horses... I for one am very glad for this because I've got 11kpp, and I'm in need of new equip.

Whether your server has the e commons market hall of Greater Faymart, this should be taken advantage of. the one part of the game that i hate the most is going to e commons to auction; long waits, confusing price checks and players who try to rip you off everytime....if this bazaar is really what it is rumored to be, i for one will take full advantage

I hear this is supposed to be an alternate zone to the EC market. like you can become an NPC merchant (i heard this, and am unsure of the truth to it) if anyone knows anything, tell me please :)

I dunno about your server, but on my server, the main "market" is Greater Faydark, and probably always will be. The moon will be too hard to get to for most, and not everyone will buy the upgrade.

Erm.. How is the moon hard to get to for most when the main market on your server is now Gfay? :) One of the four port-up points to the moon IS in Gfay :)

On my server Gfay is also the main market. However I try to avoid Gfay as much as possible for that very reason. Personally I think the bazaar is one of the best reasons for getting SoL.
