| Located in the northeastern portion of Antonica, this thick forest serves as the Dark Elven gateway to Norrath. Dark Elven guards and dragoons roam the high-traffic paths in what seems to be a futile attempt to keep it clean of trouble.
A group of halfling druids, agressive to their dark elven counterparts, have developed a few encampments here. Their reasons are unknown; perhaps they wish to one day take over Neriak. Also established in this forest is the Deathfist Clan, as they slowly make their way northward from the Commonlands. A stream juts through the forest and leads to the newly discovered Depths of Darkhollow, the final resting place of gnomish Expedition 328. Corathus Creep, the fungus-ridden area beneath Nektulos can be reached through the western edge of the water. Over the years, the forest greenery has been worn down, forming a pathway running north to south. At the southern tip are the Commonlands while at the north end is a mountain passage to Lavastorm. |

There's a new erudite NPC called Retahl Sharden at location -727, +135, +28. He's a red con at level 85.

seen Guard Gvarr at 2229,696 (right before lavastorm zone in) not listed above green to a 65 pally
Saw just at the zoneline to East Commons. Blue to a Level 15. Dropped Giant Wood Spider Femur.

This fellow is standing outside the enterance to Neriak. He is red to a level 15 and conns Warmly to a DE Necro. When hailed he says "Welcome to the gates of Neriak. Please enter the city but keep a watchful eye on the trolls within. They are our guests, so try not to assault them. For now, you are ok to pass through unharmed."

Spotted a Darkwater Piranha today, west of the bridge in the river. Yellow to 13 cleric, not sure what it's for yet.
I checked Allakhazam and found the quest for this fish. If you turn in the "Raw Darkwater Piranha" this mob drops to Roary Fishpouncer in Kerra Isle you'll get a cool Kerran Fishing Spear. The Spear has 3 charges of Enduring breath but you can get it recharged.

a Crushbone Thaumaturge, gives out a monster mission.
All the halflings are missing from the zone since the revamp. I've been all over the zone with various races including trackers and haven't found a single one anywhere. This royally messes up a ton of quests.

where the leatherfoots go since nek was re-done? they get moved to another zone or did i completely miss them?

Tons of mobs on FV faction(I think) running around in Nek. They run faster than SoW, and make life quite difficult for newbies. All were yellow to my 18 necro.

Now with new revamp, King Naython thek, Queen (somethin) (the dark elf queen) are now found in the zone!!! She doesnt see invis and didnt kill my wood elf druid even tho she was threatening to him!

recently i've been venturing around in nektulos forest and down by the river i've seen a bunch of dark elves with the tag a necromancer ritualist with spectres and the weirdest thing is they won't attack a barabarian. then the one thing that took me by surprie is that i seen king naythox thex in the forest can anyone clarify for me?
This mob was found both in Nektulos Forest, as well as in the E.Commons, near some houses not far from the center pathway. I only saw one formation in Nektulos, near Lavastorm zone, but there were 3x formations w/captains in EC.
In both zones, there were multiple mobs with these Captains, in formations of 20 mobs (4 rows by 5 columns) in EC, I counted 3x "a shaman"(troll) 6x "a warrior"(Troll), 4x "a warrior" (D.Elf), and 7x "a necromancer" (D.Elf) per group.
One of the Captains in EC (the center formation guy) had some sort of Glowing wand in his hand. The other two had old sword graphic weaps visible on them (same as rusty graphic.
All /conned thresteningly to a good frog pally (even though I killed more than a few Guardian factioned GFay mobs and /con dubious to Guardian faction now :P).
The event was locked at the time of the screenies, but i got a few nice shots of the captains and formations. Hopefully we will get a shot at downing a few of these, and maybe seeing exactly what that glowing wand-thingie is (please don't let it be more "rusty weap" craploot :P).
Will submit pics as always.

Dragoon J' len conned LB to a 68 beast. Was one of the hardest solo's I've ever had. Don't see him on the mob list.
i assume this has something to do with war but there are nerark scouts roaming around the zone they are dark blue to level 70 but give no noticable xp, can be slowed can not be mezzed, hit max 550 usually around 150, about 150 to 250 in hps and drop a message lore no drop. anyoe with a clue i see same guys roaming in east commons. also on note they are inv and do not show on track.

ADD this NPC south of bridge near water. He will pray over your "swampstone" to bring you closer to home.

He spawned at loc 2304, 951, right infront of the Neriak entrance and did not reply to hails. Conned indifferent to me (Wood Elf ;))
He was dark blue to me (46) so decided to kite him. I was kinda surprised at the faction that was changed upon downing him:
Your faction standing with Beta Neutral could not possibly get any worse.

There is a orc runner in Nektulos.
Obviously he is from Clan Crushbone since he is blue.
I have seen him twice zone in to Neriak. He always takes me by supprise so hae not yet conned him.
Is he part of a new quest?

Came across guard Z`Dann in Nektulos forest, he was red to me ( 12 level mage) but i kicked his ***.

Found another new troll in the forest, called Drooga Gran or something like that, wouldn't respond to my troll beastlord's hails, red to 23, any1 know who he might be? was thinking he might be one of the task masters from OoW.

List is missing A greater Sekelton. They're about lvl 7-9 but beware when fighting them, guards won't help you out in killing them if you get into trouble. Also missing a decaying councilman I think. And a few other of the new undead skeletons here.
While wandering thru the zone, I came across a troll at 2285 x -812 named Glob. He conned dubious to me and was red to me at level 18. When Hailed, he just stated, "Yu are not a Troll, begone before I have to keel yu."
I came here to look him up and noticed that he was not listed. Maybe some adventurous troll will stop by and get more information for the players.

To reply to myself, blugrug cons dark blue to me now. Spikeo 52 rogue the nameless. So I jumped him. It was a close fight at first, but after a few procs I got the advantage. He turned to run at 20% health. Alas I got no xp or loot, or any corpse what so ever. After I killed him he just blinked out :(.
So unless you want revenge on him for a past insult he's not worth attacking.

The vast majority (don't want to say all because I haven't killed ALL of them, just all that was up atm) of the halflings no longer raise Dreadguard Outer faction, insted it raises Unkempt Druid faction. I would post this on all of the Halflings but would take too long =)
