Surefall Glades is a quiet, sparsely populated city nestled along the border of Jaggedpine Forest. The guild houses of two factions can be found here: The Jaggedpine Treefolk (druids) and Protectors of Pine (rangers). Animal hunters be advised: The residents of Surefall fiercely guard the few bears to be found here. Don't get caught poaching!

Rumor is this has something to do with the new zone Jagged Pine Forest, over on the legends server. My bet is that it is indeed for a quest, but we'll just have to sit tight until we know more.

I also saw that bloodsaber defiler for the first time last night, and kicked her *** righteously. You're right that it's a new spawn since the patch, because I know this zone extremely well, and hang out here a lot to work on various skills. Have never seen or even heard of this spawn in the hundreds of times I've been to SFG, so it's new all right.

She conned green to me at 35, but scowled at me anyway. Probably a lowbie quest, or part of a larger one.

I also saw (and killed) the bloodsaber defiler. Female, looked more like a caster though at lvl 30 nothing stuck on me. I would guess maybe a bit higher lvl than poacher, but not sure. Perhaps 10th ?

At first thought, a change in mob for the poacher, as when I saw a defiler up I never saw a poacher.

There seems to be some "change in the air" around the whole area, with 'invasion plans' from Blackburrow, and a few new mobs in there, also a lot of gnolls marching around in formation. Picked off a few commanders just for grins last night.
