Does anyone know how or where the Cral Ligi Rocklord spawns? I'm assuming since it's a special you kill the normal cral ligi guys running around, but is there a static spawn for the rocklord to pop up, and/or would it wander? Will it only be in the area past the underwater tunnel or could you get it to spawn out on the smaller aliens islands?
I tried to go there yesterday (past the underwater tunnel), but the lag was too bad in general and then unreasonably bad during a fight, where I got whirled till I hurled. I couldn't find a way to hold my ground safely.
I'm paying for the porous rock that the cral ligi rocklord should drop, on 7th Hammer.

| The Twilight Sea is probably more land than it is water, consisting of several islands as well as a hidden area in its north accessible only by an underwater tunnel.
Katta Castellum sits in the east, its towering walls and guarded boundaries difficult to miss. Numerous city residents can be found on a nearby island containing two fishing docks and an inn called Jern's Rest. The Twilight Sea also connects to the dry, barren part of Luclin: Past the range of cliffs and mountains in the west is the Scarlet Desert. |

Killed a Frenzied Shadow (ligh blue to 55) It dropped a 23/40 +6str/int +20 mana (not sure of exact number of mana) 2 hand sword.

Found him at loc min850 min 1800, along the shore. He is half in the water and half out of the water. Green to lvl 45. When hailed i got "coughs a few times and reaches hand out to you. Please help me "

I haven't tried swimming the tunnel without enduring breath but it is a long one. You can descend underwater very close to the tunnel entrance and surface fairly quickly at the other end.
One warning to other players. My druid was killed while hunting after swimming through the tunnel with EB spell. Was bound at katta castellum, returned to bind point and had no fish scales for casting EB to swim back to my corpse. Luckily my hunting partner was able to swim back and cast EB.

For what its worth, I *have* tried it without Enduring Breath. I'm a cleric with 200 swimming and thought I could probably make it, and choked to death at the kink in the tunnel, still a fair bit short of the exit.

My 30 Iksar SK, swam the length of the tunnel with breathe to spare, with only a 156 swimming skill, and no SOW. Perhaps Iksar have a swimming skill bonus in addition to the 100 points at lvl 1.

Muzzleflash is right, it's too long of a swim. Curscale got lucky somehow with client side code issues. As a 55 Bard, swimming skill of 140, with a walrus skin drum (30% to my selos, vroom vroom, speed) equipped and propelling the speed, I just barely made it to the end of the tunnel. Didn't choke once, but it was close.

As an iksar with 200 in swim i could make it all the way without any EB, and that included getting stunned multiple times by the swarm of fish that was attacking me. It was close though, with out the fish attacking me I'm sure i could have made it in and out no problem, its just real long and a bit scary that you might drown. =)

Hello - just a quik question. Is it possible for a non-EB item holding person to swim the length of this tunnel? I need to get over there and fight some Cral Ligi dudes... but would rather not die in a tunnel...
Please let me know what you think. By the way, in case there are other factors, like potentially aggroing fish etc, I am a level 42 monk.

I have been hunting the special shadows on the shadow island. So far I have killed a dark shadow, a frenzied shadow and 2 groaning shadows. I am not sure what the weapons are for but this is what they were.
Darkedged Dirk 6 dmg 23 delay +3 srt/int 10 mana
Darkedged Two Hander (stats listed already below)
Groaning Mace 23 dmg 44 delay +5 str/wis 40 mana

I was hunting for named on the elemental island and attacked a earth elemental. Pretty soon I had 2 on me. That wasnt so bad but then I saw the named Air elemental a berzerker. I went and got that one... pretty soon I had oh I dont know maybe 6 earth elementals on my one pet and I so I figured I would run and then swim to the zone. While diving off the island I swam instead over toward that tunnel that is real long in TS which people have previously posted about.... warning DDOOOOOONT do this whatever you do. There were things in there called twilight sea minnows and wetfang minnows which hit my level 32 pet to shreds and hit me for 80 points with stun and killed me. Had to get a passing 55 shaman to drag my dead body back to me... thankfully I hit /loc before I died... Either way dont swim north of the island south was fine east was fine even west NOT NORTH...

I attacked someone a while ago named raven darkwaters(or something simular to that). He conn'ed yellow to my 37 druid and he is located on the shade island. What surpised me was that he looked like a human not at all like a shade, and was wandering around the island. I eventually got me lvl 53 mage there and killed him. He dropped a shadowstone idle (3int 3wis 3cha 10mana 10hp 3 to all saves) range slot.

Killed the same mob today with a 51 necro. Mob IS undead and somewhat magic resistant. Droped the same loot.

The Pally Twilight armor NPC isn't listed. I believe their names are Trallen Grimhammer and Latrag Darkaxe. Anyone know their loc.'s or Basic location in Twilight? Any help would be appreciated.

Besides dropping their normal quest items or weapon drops, the shadows also drop Twilight cloth items... these each have low AC and add some amount to Dex, Int and Mana. Good items for mid level casters.

Fairly easy to kill for a lvl 40 druid, just have to be careful not to pull the whole island lol

I commend Anonymous Druid afore me for being able to call the Frenzied Shadow, easy. My magic has expelled him four times now, and this shadow has a personality unlike most shadows I have encountered.
As a druid of the 47th circle, I can not say what it is like in groups with melee. These shadows suck health faster than a druid can supply. A 55 Beastlord and I realized that trying to clear the black jewel area where they seem to spawn. It's one, two, three adds, you're out at the old jewel stone.
If you are soloing you will find him to be most difficult. Save your mana because root rarely binds his feet, and snare may be resisted a bit more than most.
One additional point, this mob has a Rare drop. Which leads me to believe, my adventures in Twilight have just begun. The environment is so earthy, I think I'll retire here. What's that you say?

ouch this guy was unsnarable/unrootable. i kited him around spending alot of mana trying to snare. when he was down to about dead he gated, went back to pick him up and he was up to 60heath. Well i was OOM with him at 60 and 4 underbulks on my tail. i ran to med for a few seconds, ran more, med...eventually gated to safety, but BARELY. Anyway this guy was carrying a shield...and im going back with a friend to see what kind it is :) He was in the north cave of the secret valley there in TS

I here all of these high 30s and 40s people talking about how this is such a tough kill, and dispell it and all that. Did you consider that a damage shield means nothing to a kiting player. Especially for my druid with anti summoned spells. I intend to go to twightlight when im 26 to start hunting and fully expect to bring this guy down by the time im 30. I would like an estimation on his hp so im not caught unaware.

dropped Darkplate Legs spawns in the alien area past underwater tunnel
Does anyone know which mob drops the lesser guard of haste? My rogue definitely needs one of these. The unlimited haste effect is very intriguing. Also, does anyone know the level restriction to use these? I am hoping it's not 45 like ES gear.
