If you 'mirror' into level 6, to reach the exit go straight across the first crossroads then take a left at the t-junction.
Hug the left wall with levitate (or Dead Man floating) all the way along that passage and around the room wall - the exit mirror is in alcove on left at the far side of the room.
Note the room before the exit is full of traps which do very nasty damage. Our chanter had rune V up and got hit by two traps for about 1400 dmg in total (if she hadn't had rune up she'd be dead). However if you levitate and hug the left wall you will not set any traps off.

| This massive seven-floor tower is located on the second island of Iceclad. It is clear that something terrible once happened to the inhabitants of the tower.
Littered with undead scholars, priests, travelers and shades, one must make their way up floor by floor with a different key necessary for each floor up. On the top floor is Tserrina, inciting terror on the rest of Frozen Shadow. Contrary to rumors, there is no eighth floor. The Enraged Shadow Beast on the 3rd floor drops the Chilled Scythe as his Uncommon. He's also the keyholder for the key to the fourth floor, so you gotta kill him anyway just to move on up. We had to let the Scythe rot since nobody in group could use it and it was no drop =( Good luck

On the third floor, to the left from the entrance are a series of monastic cells several of which house Skeletal Sleepers.
I do not have an accurate con on their levels, however, they've been Blue to me since level 39 and are STILL Blue cons at 46. Considering the xp bump I get when we kill them, I'd guess they're similar in level to the Armored Shadows (around 36).
Also, your con on the Armored Shadow is far from correct (not a level 29 MoB). Our group is spending quite a bit of time on ToFS, I've been there a bit from levels 39 to 46. As of 46, there is one Armored Shadow (wanderer that typically spawns near the Skeleton Sleepers in the middle hall of their cellblock) that cons green. The rest run close to level 36 (confirmed level from groupmembers).

We looked for the key to the second floor all night on level 1, would appreciate advice on how to get it. Was told that a "large undead gnoll" dropped it, but no mob of that name ever spawned, despite wiping out the floor several times.
We did get a named gnoll twice, Xagotil, but he never dropped anything. No info on him on the list. What's he all about?

We had to petition last night, and a GM came up and talked to us then left to go look around zone. She used a master game key on all windows, and the right window ported her outside of the tower back to Iceclad.

Spawn time on bats is 40 minutes to one hour.
TSERINA CAN SPAWN FROM ANY ONE OF THEM.
Last night we had her spawn on the bat in the first room, then again on the bat in the last room.
If she is spawned (if you popped her out of bat then had to evac) to do not use her key on floor one to go directly to floor 7, as she will meet you up top, then gate and summon.

Xalgoti, maybe 28 to 33 level range, named shadow beast. on first floor. Drops Crystalized shadow armor and dropd gnome skin legs and tunic really rare. Shadow beasts are Ph for Xalgoti and can be more than one up at a time.

HT'd me for 2bubs of hp and was hitting for soild 80's on my 40th monk. felt funny getting the key to third floor without even having second floor key lol. . . .

How is the spawn rate for this "named shadow beast"? Also, what's the stat on the Crystalized shadow armor? Never realy heard of a Mob "teleporting" down LvLs,though.......

I am a necro and was hitting both the shadowbone and lesser ice shades with my UNDEAD series of spells.
Never got a chance to try them on a shadowed beast, though, cause my group was composed of lvl 30s and we over pulled.
Upper level clerics and necros should have fun in this zone. Please change the "monster" tags of the undead.

OK - the Eighth floor is NOT live yet - the key to that doesn't drop
I think parto f th confusion is that on the 6th floor, you have to go thru a mirror to get to the second part of it, does NOT require a key, to get to the key dropper and mirror to 7 - floors are differentiated by needing a key to get to them, not by mirrors.. So there is a 6a and 6b, not 6,7,then 8..

Bottom Line is that everyone agrees that Tserrina spawns on 7th floor. And regardless of what some are saying there is another area once you get to 7th. Where all the mirrors are just like the one person said the one to far right can't be opened using any of the other keys OR Tserrina's Key. I have all the keys and have tried them all personally and the far right mirror with no success. So please quit saying there isnt another floor after the one Tserrina is on. There obviously is something else in the tower and I have been told many rumors and have to get the key but most agree that it is broken atm for no one can seem to get it.

8th floor is awesome, it is the home of the dungeon boss. cant freaking spell her name. any she is lvl 51 i THINK a necro but may be an enchanter, i still go with necro since she DoTed me but my friend said on last raid she charmed ( BTW the dot was bloodboil) she spawns randomly from one of the bats down the secret ahllway behind fake wall. the room that the fake wall is in holds torches and some familiers, this room is AWESOME exp since torces con blue at 52 and a bit higher. AND the room respawns in 10min no joke its FAST. torches cast steal strentgh. so if your taking out zone boss try and do it in her hall so you wont get attacked by torches, bats are about 20-30min spawn

bats are an hour to respawn, torches are around 30 minutes, and that is floor 7, not 8.

Never saw Felkak but his Signet ring drops on the 5th Floor off of various mobs. I suppose you know what its for though. Please inform us all. Had to Identify it to find that out.

I went to the 7th floor with a group of 6 50+ a few days ago, we took tserrina out and she dropped a pure caster staff called tserrina's staff and a mage pet focus item. she is level 51 enchanter. the focus item is +6int +35 mana and makes mage pets stronger im guessing becuase we had no mage up there so it was trash loot. the staff was 2hb and had some stats i forgot but its for pur casters only and our wizard won it, i remember it proced spectre lifetap though. Tserrina also drops a whip and necklace. She is a very rare spawn, her PH's are shrouded bats on the 7th floor in the throne room, set up camp behind the secret curtain wall and hve your monk split pull the bats behind the secret wall that looks like a tapestry. Very good experience for 2 45+groups, ****** exp for 50+ as the mobs up on 7th floor are low 40's and ARE HARD TO KILL!!! the shrouded bats proc a stamina stealer spell thats steals your tanks stamina and makes them crappy tanks. bring someone that can cast invigorate. after a shrouded bat dies on the 7th floor a enraged vampire will spawn OR tserrina. odds of tserrina spawning are about 1 in 7. Pull faniliars and shodowed torches from the throne room for some **** loot and **** xp if you want too.

Some people refer to efreeti place as level 7th, when in fact it doesn't require a key... and can be referred to as level 6b.

Actually she's not an enchanter. She's a necromancer with a vampiric charm. My group popped up there and she wasted our party so we went back and she had summoned a skeletal pet. She was also hitting us with cascading darkness and ignite blood, both 49th lvl necro spells. If you kill the bat that she is inside of and fail to take her out you're in for some big trouble since she seems to have a HUGE agro radius. The chick is a pain in the **** that for sure! Specially if you aren't ready for a 51st lvl necromancer that charms the wizard in your group.

the homework is becoming so common now, its not worth more than 500pp unless you find some newb in greater faydark who is living in a closest. This aside, its a AWESOME item.
I read in another post that the eroded leather armor drops here on the 7th floor. Can anyone confirm this?
Armor is needed for the new armor quests that I are lvl 50+, so it doesn't make sense that eroded will drop here.

ive spent several hours on the 7th floor and have yet to see eroded armor drop there.there is a lvl 50+ boss up there maybe this could be her rare drop but i doubt it or she would be camped 24/7

as far as I have collected info on.. the armor for the quests drop off Dwarves and Giants either in icewall or deep within giant city, no confirmation so dunno if it's true. But knowing this and having seen a few stats for the armor on the net.. I'd say the risk is not quite worth it.. I've watched groups of lvl 60's die inside icewall many times.. sure they kill a few and probably get some nice items.. but they eventually always die. Those guards have mega hit points

On the 2nd floor, we killed the angry libarian twice and got loot respectively: 1key, 1 Student`s homework ( 3int 30mana) and then 1key and Teacher`s Syllabus (3int, 30mana, 20vs poison, 3wis) This dungeon is the best!! and that was only on the 2nd floor. The Teacher's Syllabus is resting in my range slot atm! Good luck all

I picked up 2 items last night on the first floor. I was hoping someone could tell me what they are for? The first is a Mummy Wrappings. The second is a Globe of Fear. Both are magic/Lore, but not No drop. Any info would be great.

Was in this tower for the first time lsat night. Tried serveral times to use pioson on these ghostly students and such on the second level....Not even after Tash could I get poison to stick(actually not sure if it would help at all for that matter). Not even the resist debuffing poison would stick. SO if you are a rogue with a lil poison saved up coming in here. Save it for another level. Second level is a waste for poisons.

I'd just like to be on record that this is one of the funnest zones to hunt in aside from the lvl 6 key being norent. you can start in this dungeon with 5 of your friends and work your way up to the top. there is great loot the whole way up.if you only have 2 hours to play you can zone out and then just head bk to where you left off the night b4. the mobs arnt so powerful it takes 3 full groups to clear the way and the xp here is great.I realy just want to congratulate verant on making a fun zone to PLAY in after all this is just a game and not RL or.. is it?

I would have to agree with you on this one. This is a great zone, lots of fun and the exp is good. The items are nice too. Keep climbing and they get better.

you dont get gnome skin arms cause they drop shadowbone bracers, which go in arm slot
Sorry, but you are incorrect. I have one bracer, and the sleeves. The bracers go into the wrist slot, and the sleeves go into the arms. Gonna give the sleeves to my friends monk who is having trouble getting armor and other monk equipment.

Out side the tower is a fuzzy mirror, left click you zone in, first floor has a icy floor in the center be careful, kill stuff till the lare undead gnoll spawns, key 1 crowd around the guy with the key, click the key on the mirror across from where you zone in.
On each level there are mirrors that you can click with no key that take you outside the tower, and one mirror you click with the key to go to the next level.
On the first 3 floors the key mob will spawn right after you kill something. lvl 2 angry libro, lvl 3 undead shadow beast i think
Lvl 4 has some named mobs, just kill stuff till amonhotepa spawns and when you kill him Cara Omica will spawn in the two coffin room, she has key down the hall to lvl 5, all locked doors need the key for that particular level
Lvl 5 the golem ushers are the placeholders for the lvl 6 key mob
Lvl 6 is a quest with the Coherant/incoherant ghost still unknow or broken
Lvl 7 big fight)
Its very easy to flee this zone just make sure you know the exit mirror on each level, but dont go clicking wildly near it youll zone out and everyone will have to come back and probably start over.
P.S. The faded shadow crap drops better than FS in Cazac, but weighs more ug(

An important point to mention is that the exit/excape mirror on the second level is behind a bookshelf (you must click on the bookshelf to open) in the far back left corner of the library from where you zone in.

Could a 45th lvl Enc make a stand on the 2nd lvl & live to tell the tale- just to pillage the Pissed Librarian after I kill enough lesser critters? - or as soon as I pop in & start an attack I get jumped by swarms of em?
