| Found off the Lavastorm Mountains, the Temple of Solusek Ro is a starting point of a number of quests. The followers of Solusek Ro consider everyone indifferently to begin with, and are enemies of the Shadowed Men of Norrath.
Be warned that hailing the Efreeti in this zone will lower your faction in this temple |

Can iksars go in temple of Solusek Ro? I'd like to do some quests there, but i dont wanna end up on a corpse recovery mission.

There is an NPC named Solomen in the room with the undead knights that give DF quests. This NPC when hailed spouts some info. If you say "I AGREE" he will give you a note to take to Erudin to a Camin Rah who spawns in the inn. Giving him the note gives Exp and True Spirit Faction gain..after doing this 6 times, went from dubious to amiable. I have heard this faction is needed for many of the Weapon quests now in place.

I have considered killing Tazgar, but doing so must be pretty bad faction with them.. Has anyone else killed, him?

I have run this quest a number of times to help enchanters get their mask.
There are 4 things you need to get. 2 of them are dropped, 2 are "bought".
The first item is the glowing mask. The mask is dropped by the Froglock Scryer in Upper Guk. I don't generaly camp the scryer (no xp in it for me) but every time I pass by on the way to lower guk, I check to see if he's up. If so, I kill him and put the mask aside for the next time I want to run the quest. For those 'chanters that wish to camp the scryer, take a full group in their mid 20's. The scryer spawns on a "stage" like thing, along with two other frogs (usualy shaman mobs). If you camp on the stage, only these 3 mobs will aggro you, the rest of the room will leave you alone. Be warned that the scryer is a 'chanter and will charm party members. Make sure, also, that you bring along some form of runner control.
The second item you need is a rune from Enyenti. There is already an excellent post in the MM section about killing her, but to summarize: She spawns in the very back of the pit below the castle itself, along with 2 gargoyles. There is also a mob that wanders through. You'll need a good group of low 30's to kill her and live. The good news is she spawns 100% of the time. She doesn't always drop the rune, but she has it 80% of the time or so.
The third item you need is a rune from Madam Serena, who can be found hanging out at the docks in Qeynos. Hand her 5 pp (or 50 gold) and she'll give you the rune.
The fourth item is in Nerriak third gate. Hand Miz'n Marr (in the library) 5pp or 50 gold and he'll give you back a rune.
I am neither a 'chanter nor a dk elf. I get to the library be invising the whole way. Miz'n Marr is on beta neutral faction and is not KOS to anyone. Once you make it to the library, you can drop invis long enough to give him the money, then invis back up again.
The mask is worth every bit of trouble it takes to get it. Good luck and enjoy :)

I have all the quest items I need for the Bracer quest. I just need to get the enchanted platinum bars. My question is are simple enchanted platinum bars enough to hand to Gavel, or do I need to get them galvenized or vulcanized first? Thanks.

For the bracers, you only need the 2 bars enchanted bu an enchanter... nothing extra... but be sure you unstack them before putting in trade window, or you will lose them and get nothing back

I have been to the temple of Sol Ro twice now and both times I have been booted to my desktop upon zoning in. When I try to get back in I can't. I ended up waiting for around half an hour the first time it happened before I was able to get back on and found myself in a white room with some teleport numbers on the wall. I looked for a exit but none to be found. Referenced to the map and I was nowhere on the map (the EQ atlas map anyway) So I did the only thing I could do Petition and wait for a GM. He came along and ported me to the entry no real explanation was given other than "It happens sometimes" VERY frustrating I must say. I am still waiting to see what is going to happen this time when I am able to log my character on. I can acess all my other characters but not the one in this zone. Anyone else out there had this trouble?? If so would love to hear your story :0)..

I had this problem like this in the warrens, i tried to zone out once and ended up in a room with no exit with numbers on the walls... kinda strange, GM was pretty fast about getting to my petition tho.

Yeah, like i was warned not to, i hailed that stupid Guy..i had the EQAtlas map..and it said his name was Efreeti, so i figured..this guy isnt him..maybe i found a new place? SO i hailed him like a dork..and now i have to kill Shadowedmen till i puke.. At least i got my Boots of the reliant before i did that. Fetched a nice sum of cash.

I found this little dresser i double clicked it and it moved i went down and out on a stump over the pool of lava was this little fire genie looking thing i hailed him also and he made my faction go down next time im going to take a picture of him.

Well I'm just a low lvl Bard and well I hate waiting a lot. So how hard is the quest for the Lambent armor? I mean it looks really cool and it must have really good AC. Do any of you have that armor and if you do could you tell me the AC?

Tazgar is an efreeti red to a level 35 DO NOT HAIL HIM your faction goes down
mine went from amiably to indifferently just for hailing him once (one more bad thing to add to the crappy day i had) he is probably for some high level quest possibly drops some REALLY nice items either that or drops nothing

The robe of the KEEPER is from MM, robe of the SEEKER is from SolRo. Neither one is anything special. I'd advise against killing here in case you ever want to do any quests (many are quite easy for level 37+ characters and most of the quest items are sellable).

No one is KOS here to start. Killing things in the temple for oh say... a Robe of the Seeker like this one I'm wearing, will make anyone KOS however.

Im curious if anybody else has seen tazgar,i found a hidden room.all i did was hail him and he said:I liked you alot better when you were silent...you have lost faction with the temple of solesk ro...just wondering,i killed a few shadowmen so i would have better faction there for my darkforge and just by hailing tazgar its lower than it was before all of it

I to had faction hit from that guy Tazgar and now i cant get my runescale cloak cause the lady Vilissa will not talk to me...how do i increase faction with the temple of solesk ro?
