I tried to get teeth frm a pirahna and it said the tooth was a non-drop item????!!!!!

yes its a no drop- you can give it to, not sure what his name is, but the npc that stands out on the docks, and inside the docks house. You give it to him for faction.

Tis true - also the deputy in the Bank (up stairs and first room on left) wants them in a bag. Plus one of the clerics will trade a tooth for healing for non-halflings
