Last night my level 11 ranger was hunting the poachers in the bear caves when the Gnoll Poacher appeared. Went down far easier than the other poachers. Got a gnoll head (not lore, not no drop) and a patch of gnoll fur but no paw. Turned in the head and got a rough elm recurve bow. Gave the gnoll fur to Corun Finisc and got a thank you. I guess the paw is a rare drop on a rare mob, or that quest isn't in the game yet.
