Jaggedpine Forest  

The Jaggedpine Forest made its debut on July 24, 2002. It is home to a clan of Darkpaw gnolls, visitors from Qeynos and Surefall, as well as a host of many animals, most of which are very aggressive and sometimes difficult to see in the thicker regions of the forest.

Killed a barbarian NPC that was new to Permafrost, he drops "a bag of jade stones" (or something like that) and affected faction with jaggedpine. This may help someone with a quest there :)
