The eastern plains of Karana are sandwiched by mountains and water. Travelers should be wary of the named cyclopses, wandering evil eyes, and steep, narrow mountain paths approaching Highhold Pass (don't step off the ledge!).

I was in EK tonight harvesting spider silks. I was in wolf form and this guy attacked me as well. As you said he resisted all Ensnare and Root spells. And since he was green to me at 51 I thought that it would be an easy kill, man was I WRONG, I was down to 20mana and 1 bub of life when I finally took him out. He backstabs for a bunch! I got the Tattered Pantherskin Gloves too. Anyone know what they are for?

If you are in wolf form this guy will alway agro on you. He is a bit of a lunatic attacking at random. If he doesnt automatically attack you you can hail him and he will talk rudely to you. I have killed him about a dozen times once I gave up trying to snare. Trust me, he won't snare or root ever. What I do is burn, swarm or any direct damage spell at a distance and run away with a SOW, stop and repeat. At my level of 31 after 6 or 7 of those he is toast. He will backstab you for 150+ if he catches you so I run out of range and as soon as I can cast I cast and run some more. He always drops a tattered panther hide druid no drop gloves, fine steel sword and dagger with about 2pp most times. An easy kill for a druid that know how to run. If I go head to head I'm toast everytime. The glove must relate to a Jagged Pine Quest given the positive faction gained there. I wish I knew what to do with gloves since I have enough of his gloves to open a glove store.

38 Druid. He was blue to me, so I tried to Ensnare him. Didn't take me long to figure out this guy wasn't going to be snared. So I DOTed him. Drones of Doom. And ran. repeat 3 or 4 times and he was walking away. :::shrug::: Used a bubble or so of mana. I came here to see how often he spawned, thought he was pretty easy.

Hmmm... As a 44 ranger, he (and his siblings) take me down around a bubble of health. My 45 druid friend took him down without the loss of a single drop of health.

Last night was in EK picking up a friend to port him. Said friend was coming from HK, so wolfed to run meet him. Near the bridge, and the Sir and Squire, this Theoris Bladespur jumps me.

I'm a level 41 druid, he is blue to me, but he doubles me a couple times for 70 so I try and root, then try and snare. No luck either time, I also got the message that he was "immune to changes in speed". So, tired of being whacked upon for 140 each time and then running and healing, I just zoned. He was fast, but slower than greater wolf form. He didn't BS me, so I don't know his BS damage.

I would also be interested in knowing the complete quest he is involved with, as he has now made it onto my 'hit list'.
