attacked me in EK the other day, he was green to me at 52 but resisted all attempts to root or snare, had to evac as i was not prepared with the proper spells. went back and used ice on him a couple times and he went down. he runs fast. the factions hits were

I killed him twice, both times he dropped Tattered Panther Hide Gloves, AC 5, no drop, Class Druid, race HUM, HEF, ELF, HFL.

I was just reading there is another in EF or Perm dropping a Bag of stones. Under the JPF section, it seems there is a quests using the bag of stones.
It sounds like the one in Tox, and EF are required the others are for the pieces or armor. No idea on the stats.

As a Wood Elf ranger of Tunare I wasn't KOS to this guy, but in wolf form I was. I have also come across 2 other Bladespurs in my travels. On in South Karana in the SW corner I dont' know is she roams. The other was in Tox near enough the spire to track quickly. What made me start hunting and killing this "family" is not that one attacked me when I was in wolf form, it's cause when I hailed him without wolf form, he insulted me. I didnt' take that kindly. I will kill all Bladespurs I see.

The Bladespur in Toxxula is Fittorn Bladespur. He drops Jaggedpine Panther Hides (no drop).
Also both of them give - faction hits to the Pirates of the Pine and + to Jaggedpine Residents. So they are tied to the new Jaggedpine Forest zone and those poachers there. I would guess any quest involving these drops would be there. I am going to investigate soon, but I need to raise my factions there.
Oh, both died to a single Winged Death, so they have about 1250 or so HPs (WD never wore off, so its less than 1280 ;-P)

I was killing crag spiders for silks when Bladespur came wandering toward me. I am 53 druid in wolfform. Conned green - tried to snare and root --- no luck. Just ran away and cast starfire twice. Dead and got the gloves but really can't use them. LOL

I also meet this Theoris Bladespur last night. he's a lvl 35 rogue. I was lvl 36 and he conned blue, I had to run to the zone. I changed up my spells and went back after him, but he wasn't on track. Then the next thing ya know, he was on top of me! He got one good hit, and i was off. root never worked but i did ensnare him after several tries. then hit him with droons of doom about 4 times and he died without ever getting a second hit on me. i saw him on track about 5 minutes later and went after him again, but i lost him, then pow! he was on top of me again! I'm thinging he's hiding. anyway, i couldn't get far enough in front of him to cast snare and he caught up to me at the end of the casting and backstabbed me. I went down after about 4 hits and lost a lvl. (ouch) when i got back to my corpse i saw him on track and he was black to my now 35 druid. I was in greater wolf form the whole time. Same loot and faction hits as above.

oh yea. he dropped a fine steel dagger and fine steel sword.

Aye, that's what i came to look up also. Haven't found any quests linking the gloves yet.
