BlackBurrow is the home of the Sabertooth Clan gnolls, a group not particularly fond of outside visitors. It connects to both the Everfrost Peaks and Qeynos Hills.

Be advised that the dense (take that as you will) gnoll population combined with their habit of running deeper into the stronghold for help can make for some pretty impressive trains.

Well, I found this guy sitting in the deeper areas of Black Burrow and he conned green apprehensive to a 32 Woodelf Druid. I did something I shouldn't have and killed him. Faction: -Priests of Life, -Knights of Thunder, -Guards of Qeynos, +Bloodsabers, -Antonius Bayle. Loot: Blackburrow Battle Plans.

Also, I took out a Gnoll Tactician and he dropped an Onyx Earring, a Blackburrow Gnoll Pelt, and the Blackburrow Battle Plans (LORE ITEM)

If you're looking for him or the Gnoll Tactian, the easiest way to get to them is thru the pit trap in the tree up top. The tactian was right there and Scout Malityn was down a little further along the wall. The Tactian was light blue to my 20lvl druid and went down easily. I decided that killing the Scout would probably hurt faction in Qeynos.(The suit of plate he's wearing should be a dead give away)He was green and indif. to me and wouldn't answer my hail. Hope this helps

Not sure if any of this is worth anything at all but i killed him multiple times with a level 34 necro and he dropped 3-6pp everytime along with Words of Grapling (level 49 necro reserch) and a rune of which i dont remember the name. Might be bad faction hits but the words and rune seem to be kinda rare for his level. If anyone else knows anything else he dropps let me know i dont mind faction hits.

I also saw this guy, and since I was bored, I killed him. Do not ever do this if you don't want bad faction with Qeynos. I went from ally to warmly with guards, and hunted gnolls for 3 or 4 hours and it still hasn't changed back. I went from indifferent to scowling with Clerics and Paladins in qeynos.

I got some weird messages in qeynos hills about blackburrow and surefall, may have been about some upcoming event there, or occurred to me that since there is a patch tommorow maybe it was part of a prelude to a new zone adjacent to Surefall which I've heard has been implemented on the test server. anyway, so I came to this zone to see if anything weird was going on and I found this guy on track. Didn't seem normal so I tracked him and eventually found him. He was green to me at 37, and regarded me kindly. However, he would not respond to any of my hails so I deicided to kill him. I lost some good faction, and all I got when I looted him was 3pp. Don't nkow if he'll ever have some future purpose or not, hopefully so.

there is a new zone being added next to Surefall , i forget the name but its already being played in on legends server..
