The forest of Misty Thicket acts as a gateway to the rest of Norrath for Rivervale's Halfling population. It is a fair-sized chunk of land which is divided into two areas by a great wall. While the eastern side of the wall is well-guarded by the Guardians of the Vale, the western side is dominated by Deathfist Orcs and Runnyeye Goblins.

I have just started a halfling Paladin and have been doing a quest for Bravefoot armor or been trying to. I am currently trying for the helm. One of the things I need is a Large Yellow Jacket Tergite, not to be confused with the giant ones. Is there a way to make the large wasps spawn or is it just random? I think that so far they a far to rare for the level of quest I am doing. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem... Large yellowjackets are SO rare, that my pally's lvl 11, has all the armor except for 4 pieces, and all of those pieces require drops from large yellowjackets... And, when they do spawn, they don't seem to ever drop anything. I've been playing this char on and off for MONTHS, and I still have 1 of the 5 necessary large yellowjacket drops for a full set of armor... Only mildly frustrating, let me assure you. ;)
