there are also 3 spells available in Blightfire Moors for necro pets to turn spectre into a skellie >>> THIS SPELL IS WORTHLESS <<< it makes your pet only a little smaller but stays a spectre with the annoying spectre sound
You guys are always so quick to pass judgement, and nobody looks past his nose. The Skelly illusions are a great benefit. Sure, the Spectre looks great now, and it comes with a Scythe and apparently does great damage. Now turn it into a Skelly, go get the high end Mage pet toys and see what it will do. A Skelly can dual weld. For those of you from Direwind, that means they have a possibility of a 240 proc times 2. Pretty good reason to get the spell I would say.
Other than the spectre pet will dual wield and proc pet weapons also? The spectre is just the way it looks, even without pet weapons it still dual wields. The main reason I can see to get this is so you do not have that annoying sound the spectres make when you are sitting around near them.

As of the recent patch, our spectre pets now have a new graphic. It is the same as this spell. I looked around for the new pet illusion spells and found 3 of them in Blightfire Moors at the Outpost Camp in the middle of the zone. Undertaker Schell (loc -20, 482) sells Form of Bleached Bone - level 44, for less than 16pp; Form of Chilled Bone - level 16, for less than 5pp; and Form of Mottled Bone - level 56, for less than 17pp.
These spells don't overwrite each other but if you suspend minion it loses illusion and you see the spectre pet again. Yes, I have Suspend Minion II but it still loses illusion buff.

My favorite mob? Skeletons - because they enjoy fighting so much.
OK, why did i buy this? when pet already looks like this graphic, waste of PP, IMO
