Longer than 18 seconds?

I set up an audio trigger to let me know when it's coming up on 18 seconds from the message "You are promised a divine renewal". I'd previously done the same thing for tells or spell awareness reporting a Complete Heal starting, and it's very useful for letting me know if I need to burn a disc or potion or whatever to buy a second or two for the heal to go off.

What I noticed for this spell was that the trigger was consistently telling me the 18 seconds were up but the heal didn't come for another few seconds. So with the new always-visible buff timers I watched as I cast it, and sure enough it's showing up with a 22 or maybe 23 second timer.

What I'm wondering is whether the 18-second timer is being extended by my focus items. It shouldn't be, since Extended Enhancement says it only applies to spells with a min duration of 4 ticks. And 15% added to 18 seconds still wouldn't come close to 22-23 seconds. But it's definitely taking that long to fire off. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

It's weirder than I thought. Watching the timers, I noticed that all my buff timers hit a multiple of six seconds at the same time, which would make sense if all spell durations are rounded to the nearest tick. That made me think that maybe the 18-second duration was actually 18-23 seconds, i.e. 18 seconds starting at the next tick boundary.

Well, when I watch the initial duration timer on multiple casts, it does indeed vary from 18 to 23. But what's weird is, the renewal effect sometimes fires off before the timer drops to zero. And sometimes the timer counts down to 1 and then bounces back up to 6, the way it does in the Guild Lobby/Hall where buffs never run down. (And then the renewal definitely fires off before the timer gets back down to 0.) So that makes it look like the effect is trying to go off "between ticks" to get the timing right at 18 seconds. Except the result is definitely not anywhere near a consistent 18-second timer. And what's worse, it means I can't even rely on watching the buff icon countdown to know when the heal will happen!

This dropped off a giant in the Valdeholm Arena for my cleric today. I guess it's pretty rare because I hunt there alot and never saw it drop, but she got it.

Rank one heals 8500 hp, rank 2 heals 9500 hp, and rank 3 heals 10500 hp. Those numbers will be higher, if the spell is cast on a class that has healing AAs.
