I never bothered getting this spell. But now there are some higher level zones with some interesting plants. It's a shame we never got an upgrade for plant charm.
I find I use my animal charm a lot more these days. And if we had a higher plant charm it would make a nice companion with Skin to Vines/Mulch spells.

I am one of those people that like to have all there spell's rather there worth it or not . If this spell is a quest who is ther quest giver & what are the component's to complete the quest

One zone you can make good use of this at( if you get it fairly soon) is the Swamp of No Hope..there are man eating shrubs/ferns/plants/vines in this zone, and I believe the vines are like 23-27 in lvl...I use this zone alot since it is basically empty, and there is alot of good exp to be had in here =)
did the quest a couple of days ago, it still works! but how to get the components at lvl 28 is a mystery to me. havent found anything yet what can be charmed, will try ot soon

i tried to do this wuest last night and got all the stuff for it and when i went to FV all there was was dragoons and cliff golems aand no people except pilgrims so dont waste ur time tryin to get this spell

So far I found 1 plant I could charm with this spell: A Treant in South Karana.
Not only was I able to charm the Treant, but the treant stayed charmed for a long long time (I didn't have to recharm, and I just gated when I was done with it, so I wouldn't get a bad faction hit) but, the treant was a good DPS pet (hitting for 52) and cast Druid spells on itself and the other animals I was attacking.
Additionally, my Sand Eroded Shell (casts Savage Spirit) worked well on the pet and hasted it.

This spell is the result of a quest that at lvl 29 is impossible to do alone anymore. Perhaps when the Frontier Mountains were at the peak of their popularity people could /ooc for the component of this quest that is needed from the sarnak. Otherwise, in 2004 the only way you're going to get this spell is if you are far higher than 29 (in which case what use is the spell?? It only charms lvls 25 and higher!!!) or you have a few high lvl friends that are willing to waste a couple hours of their time for a spell that is worthless the moment you're old enough to use it. Where the hell do you find plants that are lvl 25 and lower?

She sells Beguile Animal not Beguile Plant. The latter is a quested spell in FV.

Ok I'm thinking hard of where there are plants of around level 30 that you would be able to charm. The one zone that comes to mind is OT. The cactus are decent fighters, although slow. Anyone have other suggestions of where is a good spot ot use this spell?
Well, runny eye. Would be a BLAST to charm Moldmaster and he could stomp that whole zone and even Lord Picklaw... Any 20 somethign that devours me lvl 35 ranger like nothing, regens every hit as I dish it out would be a fun pet.

No real use for spell as it only works on plants that are 25 and below.
Maybe fungus grove when you get to that level..*shrug*
